    Hello everyone. This post is just to inform you of the The Mining Dead update decision and announce the April voting rewards. So let’s get into it.

    The Mining Dead Update
    We have decided to merge TMD-1 and TMDO-1. This new TMD-1 will have all of the features you know and love including spammable pains. If you don’t love spammable pains, don’t worry - there will be servers for you to play on too! While the specifics of the servers are still being worked out, you can look forward to also playing on a TMD Realism server. This server will not include juggernaut armor or legendary guns. With the map coming along nicely, you should expect to see this update in the near future!

    Because we will be getting rid of TMD-5, TMD-6, and TMD-7 and because TMDO-1 will be merging with TMD-1 we have implemented /saves. Please note that this command will clear your inventory when used. We do not have an ETA for the update so you should not use this command yet. This command will save your inventories so you keep your items upon the update. You will only need to do this on TMD-5, TMD-6, TMD-7, and TMDO-1 if you have items you want to keep. You will not need to do this on any of the other TMD servers.

    April Voting Rewards
    With the end of April comes the end of out voting contest and the beginning of the May voting contest! The winners of the April voting contest are listed below. If you are a winner, you should have received a message on the forums with a voucher code allowing you to purchase anything you desire from our shop.

    Does that mean you can finally click on Daryl at the safezones?

    and the map maker tmd contest? it ended weeks ago but still no post has been made, only those who won (like me) know it ended. it was so sad the other day when someone made a huge map, and they were like, oh yeah i wonder when the tmd contest ends. if he was asking, then he did not know, meaning he lost.

    also for the realism server i have a few(more like a lot) suggestions

    1. muddy/rusty guns (less damage, muddy ones can be cleaned)

    2. guns can jam if not cleaned

    3. cleaning kit is needed to "clean" a gun after a certain time has passed

    4. guns are much rarer, but certain ones are not. the double barrel and the Winchester can be common on farms, but rare in towns/cities. towns/cities have pistols, like the m9 or g17 in the houses, and some good guns in police stations/military areas.

    5. guns are much less accurate when hip firing, but if you aim down the sights,your aim improves.

    6. attachments, like grips, (aim+) better sights(scope, red dot, thermal, aim+) suppressors (sound-)

    7. at night zombies spawn closer

    8. scissors, pipes, and things like those are much more common

    9. when using an unsuppressed gun, there is a high chance a horde (3-6) walkers will spawn nearby.

    10. all guns can use most attachments, but things like pistols cant use thermal, or shotguns can't gun suppressors

    11. trucks. a pickup truck or maybe a flatbed truck that can carry a good amount of people, or instead of people, supplies. (1 person slot=4 item slots)

    12. vehicles require fuel, fuel easy to find in gas stations.

    13. water can be unclean if found in a dirty place (lakes, ponds)

    14 dirt water^ can be cleaned with tablets, found in med bags

    15 camo. like what you did with jugg, make full body camo suits that are green,grey,black. maybe somehow with a plugin make them blend in really well

    16. nametags invisible unless your cursor is on them and they are 0-10 blocks away

    17 somehow, maybe with a plugin, allow crawling (good for sneaking up on someone)

    Glad to finally hear about getting rid of the other TMDs. But get rid of TMDO = add TMD Lite? Wasn't the purpose to unite everyone..

    We are trying to add gamemodes/variants of gamemodes that everyone will enjoy. It already sounds like people are psyched for TMD Realism, and our focus wasn't to divide the community. It was to give the community a variant of the classic gamemode that some will enjoy. We accept that not everyone will enjoy it, but it would be impossible to please everyone. This is just another feature that will allow players to choose their play-style.

    That's Awesome! I keep bringing friends of mine onto the server to hang out, and I tell little stories about the old map like a grandma talking about the good ol' days when you had to take a bucket to the well, fill it up and take it back and bathe in a pan, to my little grandchildren! I love some of the memories I have of the old map, rage and hackers and all, sometimes it was just fun in general getting angry all together as a little blocky group family xD I can't wait!
