Whats so bad about Staff?

Ok before some of you are going to just say some negative things about staff, read this first then tell me what's so bad about staff.

Lately I've seen Staff saying they get treated like crap. I was talking to Lateralization today and he said the majority of people treat staff bad.

It upsets me how cruel this server is, Its amazing how much hate can change someone. When you think about it, the reason why players treat staff like crap is just dumb. It makes no sense to me. People are just treating the Staff Team bad just to join in on the drama or just because they dont get what they want. When will people realize they are human beings too. To be honest the staff are the nicest people on the server.

If people want to throw all that hate and negativity to Staff, then why dont they think about the server without staff?
It wouldn't be a good server, would it?
I just hope people know that the staff are trying the best they are.

Staff Team usually gets spat on for multiple reasons, usually most of them are about punishments and trust me everyone likes sharing about their own punishments. Through forums usually new players make mistakes and rant about it on public forum post, where everyone can see and other players see it if they think punishment was unreasonable they’ll jump on the bag wagon trynna witch hunt that staff member or even the whole team. Also could be someone complaining about inactive staff, but at end of day staff are trying to do their best for majority of the server and they’re also trying to have fun while helping.

There’s a lot of small reasons why people hate, don’t waste your time on it unless you know both sides of the story. Staff are players too let them do their things and worry about yourself before others.

EDIT; Trust me I’ve made the same mistakes before and took me 7-8 bans to learn that fully because I stuck my noise into other people’s buisness.

I mean if the staff can't take the drama or hate then they aren't fit for staff, it's really that simple, and you said staff are the nicest people on the server... well ya that's because they HAVE to be lol, i'm not trying to be rude or anything but most people who apply for staff just want power and to just have the tag to look cool.. not to help the server ;D. but some staff are very helpful and do their job great.

Some have great Staff members on the team, many have left...
There are good eggs and bad eggs on the team currently...and bad eggs need to be resigned
Don't add more bad eggs...

I'm not sure if you read it wrong but I'm not saying I don't want the server without staff.

Staff didn’t sign up to be hated, they’re just trying help community and enforce rules, that are pretty easy to follow. Staff aren’t always friendly to players there’s some staff that speak at their own will, they’re human like you jahango but that might be hard for you to comprehend.

I hope some staff members didn’t apply just for the powers and more for enforcing simple rules but I only know one staff member that abuses their powers but they’re not on staff team anymore. Staff without powers would be pretty dumb unless everyone wants to see more cheaters. Depends on how you look at the situation but I don’t really see issue, besides having no Admin watching over other staff.

It doesn't matter what they "signed up" for, if they get hate they get hate, you can't do anything about it. Players will have opinions on certain people / staff no matter what, and if they can't handle hate then that's their problem and no one elses.

Yes, but can players handle what they claim "Staff Abuse" or "Falsely Banned"? This should be a Double-Standard: Both sides should comply

Btw, most servers as far as I know have rules like "Staff Disrespect" which can be interpreted in multiple ways, but more favoring the staff then the playerbase.

I know servers have that, and so does this server if i'm correct. Anyways there is no way to stop staff from getting hate on this server let alone any other server.

You need to see it from staffs point of view, they want to help but idiots that can’t follow rules ruin that and cry on the forums when they break a rule. Bunch of children that can’t walk in a straight line.

I thought of many ways but one idea is a message when you join. You know that message that says hacking or cheating in anyway will give you a ban.

The issue with a message like that is people can very well just not care and continue on with what they usually do, and for new players they may have an issue but be worried that staff will punish them if they ask a question that has a simple answer (for example if someone had just joined and they were wondering how to get to spawn).

What I meant by wasting their time is treating staff bad. Sorry, when I was typing that I was in a rush.

I have mention about some of the resentment against the staff is due to transparency issues and the system of staff with the concept of "favoritism" and some good ex-staff members leaving(but most likely kicked) leading to many players with questions.
It really comes down to people shunning the staff team due to some shady and unreasonable bans...along with more sketchy rumors(conspiracies) not only surrounding the staff team...

"transparency issues" I didn't get along with some staff due to me just being an ***, but, most of them are good people and should not be treated the way they are now!

I would like to address a popular rumour surrounding us. Yes, it is true, that all the bans we give out are decided via a random number generator and never have proof, we just hate you all. We are also doing a ban reset in a few days and this is totally not a joke in any way shape or form.
