I'm not here to be unbanned, because it was only for an hour. On the other hand, I have some complaints. Yes, I was annoying. I was trying to see how far staff would go, tbh. A few months ago I was trying to roleplay with my friends, and there was a player punching us, and standing inside of us, just like I was to another player. We did /staff, and a helper got on. They said there was nothing they could do. Really? How about go get your Mod friends and ban this person for an hour. I don't have any screenshots of this, but it did happen.

So then today, I called someone a name, and I got muted. I decided to see what would happen if I continued to annoy her, and she tp'd a helper. This helper got two Jr. mods on. One of them watched awkwardly and the other one danced with me I went back to annoying her, and my dance buddy left The other Jr. Mod proceeded to tell me if I didn't stop I was going to be banned for an hour. I didn't stop, I was banned.

How come this didn't happen with the person who was annoying my friends and I? Just a thought.

I can't say I support this post, as I don't know the whole story, but since this is public, if you don't mind criticism, eventually a staff would stop by and say a few more things on this situation!

To begin with, I don't suggest "testing" staff or trying to get punished as I don't believe that will work out well for anyone. However, you have brought up a valid point. Unfortunately, not everyone interprets everything the same way and although we do try to be as clear as possible in the rules, they still might get slightly different interpretations varying from person to person. The rules also state that punishments may not be exactly as stated depending on the situation. We try as hard as possible to be consistent throughout the staff team, but we are not perfect.

If a player is doing this simply to annoy other players and don't stop after being asked, I would consider this harassment. Generally in this situation, the staff member should ask the offender to stop before warning them. If they proceed, a warning will follow. In the first incident, that is what should have happened. Unfortunately as there is no evidence of this, it can't be handled now. I'm sorry this situation wasn't handled to the best of our ability.

The second incident was handled semi-properly. I don't condone staff members joining in on harassment, however if they were simply dancing then I don't see a problem with that at all. The punishments were correct. I would like to apologize for the inconsistency, and would like you to know that if you would like to discuss this situation further, feel free to message me. I will explain harassment in staff chat to try and promote consistency regarding this rule. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. c:

Don't really agree with this, if staff says to stop it means stop. Staff are incharge just listen to them and it'll be fine. don't test them

Well I like your idea Rocco, but I was also thinking about an another thread where some players see staff as figure of authority, authoritarian, and being hard to contact.

Since there is many will to upgrade the way staff and players interact with each others, I would ratter like to suggest to see them as a friend, but also as someone on duty. Almost like a cop, but the good one's like in the movies

So please I would like to say no more drama but I guess, this is parts of every days threads on a forum! So feel free to discuss on how you feel about relationship with staff, or about problem related with appeal, or staff; but in the end, I suggest you start a conversation as private message, when someone offer listening. You could also search an already existing post related to your current problem, if there is one, as we have many of them already
