On the forums, I see a lot of people creating threads about extremely interesting things, but it's either extremely vague or it's confusing! Read this guide to create a appealing thread that will make your idea/team/whatever sound more interesting!
Overall
Grammar, grammar is important in every type of thread! Personally I do not want to read a thread that I can't understand very well. Try to use a wide range of vocabulary to add flare to your words so people will keep reading, and make sure to use interesting words to describe stuff and help them grasp the idea of the thread better. Grammar comes into play here too. A lot of people don't want to read a thread that has the goodest of them great grammars, right? So make sure to use good grammar.
Give a good description. I always see threads that are very vague, and give absolutely no description. If your making a car service for example, tell people what the costs are, what servers it's on, what kind of cars. Help them understand what your idea is, if they come and look at a thread about a new car (for example), but it just says "I think they should add a new car, it would be purple", then their going to just write "Can you explain more please?" and go to some other thread.
Sound welcoming to people, this doesn't really come to play as much in threads that are suggestions, but more to teams and services. Don't sound like your a troll who's luring people so you can kill them, sound welcoming and friendly. If someone replies with a negative comment, don't go and rage and tell them their wrong, take constructive criticism and take what they said into consideration and think about what you could do to do better so people wouldn't say those things.
Teams
I see a lot of cool teams out there, but don't you want your team to stand up against the rest of the teams? I'll start at the beginning, have a picture, make a cool picture that represents your team, under that put a header, that's the simpler stuff. Next, under your header, add a cool team lore in italics, like "Adventure and conquer like never before on this team!", something like that, but a bit longer. Under that, give a larger description about your team, and tell them what your team does, and what's so good about joining your team. Under that, have a list of people in your team, and list there positions on your team and which players have infinite. Under that write how to join your team, and what the application format is, and all your requirements. Now add your own touch to it, maybe sprinkle some little images in between, play around with words, and there you have it! An appealing team thread.
Suggestions
When suggesting something, you need to do it right. People look for details, and things they see that look interesting, what are these things? I'll tell you right away! First of all, you want to pull people into your thread, make it look interesting to read. Usually people read the first sentences and then decide if they want to read the rest of the thread. See what I did at the beginning? Next thing is, be descriptive, I personally do not agree with vague suggestions, because I can't understand them. You have to be descriptive while suggesting something or else no one will want to read it. Also, this one is optional, put some images or concept art in. When I see an image on a suggestion, I usually get a bit more pulled into it. Always make sure to get every little detail in, if your suggesting a new vehicle, specify how rare it is, what it can do, how fast it is, how much it would be worth. Be specific!
Services
For a service, there's a lot of times I see someone saying they have a special service but they don't tell you where it actually is. Tell people where this is, what TMD server it's on! How are people going to come to your shop, or car service, or whatever, if they don't even know where it is. Name your service costs and everything, and what you sell, or when your on. Get all those details.
Thanks for reading!
