I'm pretty sure people won't be willing to tell you their fears and what makes them tick without knowing you personally.

Example:
I asked one of my friends out. [I'm not telling you if we're dating stop]

Only them (of course) and one other person know.

Legit zero of my other friends know. Because people are scared and cynical (legit me). The only reason the other friend knows is because the one I asked out slipped and I had to explain..

People are afraid. Afraid of what the person can do with what you just told them. Afraid of how they can **** up your entire world with a few sentences.

That's what I'm trying to say.

Makes sense, but I wouldn't really be able to tell anyone (is a loner with nobody to tell, even if I wanted too)

Sometimes people just need words of encouragement and an uplifting. It doesn't matter who it is.

I've lost my adoptive daughter, she's now with a redneck dude I barely know and a lady who turns a glock into a sniper. They're all aboard a boat they took from Finley. Someone who I thought was my friend shot me in the stomach on the side of the road and left me for dead. I need help coping and figuring this out..

Well I can tell by "glock into a sniper" and "Finely" that this is not irl problem, but ok. Just move on. This stuff happens. Try to heal from your wounds, then you can plan on from there!

Any ideas on how I can be better at getting to people who are shy/ haven't seen this thread/ think "stranger danger" when they see me XD (thats good, avoid strangers, but not to the point where you cant make friends)

Reviving a dead thread! Yay! Anyways, seeing as it's the holiday season, some people have nobody to celebrate with. If you know someone who may be alone during the holidays, invite them over for a cold glass of nog, or et them a card! If you are the person who is alone, don't worry! Im here for you.
