As I have been playing the game, I've realized that food isn't really a threat. There is always an abundance of
food in almost every area you go, and you always have more than enough when you head to your next
destination. So here is my pitch: You have food spoil, so you can't stock pile it, and you make it more
(realistically) rare. Maybe you can have the foods durability go down with every passing day, say about 3-5
days (3 for fruits and veggies, 5 for canned goods. of course these numbers are not concrete.), and when it
spoils, it either disappears, or turns into rotten flesh, that has an 80% (again, not concrete) chance to give
you food poisoning, but restores the same amount of hunger. I also believe that this would make combat more
interesting, as it adds another factor that you have to account for. I've also mentioned having animals spawn
more, and I propose this, because it would make hunting a more relevant part of the game.
