As some of you may remember, a few months back a notorious group of players in the group TheFederation had aspired to end every community on the TMD network through sheer annoyance and causing trouble. Many of its members where banned when the group ******** harrassed some players, and the group was disbanded, I believe by some staff looking to help with the crisis.
The group, however, made TMD less fun for many TMD-3 regular players, and reduced the number of players on the server drastically by causing hundreds of players to quit or be banned, thanks to the network being ruined by a massive noob army.
While at Hilltop, I encountered a chief member of the group, Skywalker, who threatens that TheFederation has a new team and the leader, Endlord, may be back and ready to perhaps cause a similar disaster to occur. Communities are becoming a prominent feature again, having just recovered through the course of the last month and a half from the pandemic. Hilltop was officially reformed on TMD-3 just yesterday.
If TheFederation is put back together and able to amass hundreds of noobs as it did last time, The Mining Dead's seven servers and maybe the Havoc network as a whole may fall victim to a similar near-death state, where hundreds of players may leave again, especially older players.
Here's the conversation I had with Skywalker:
