I would like to suggest the plugin Voxel Sniper for the "Map Maker" server. I have about 1.5 years of experience around it and IF added I will make a tutorial on how to use it. In my opinion, it makes building a 100% easier and if you know how to use it, it can be one of the best weapons in your building arsenal

Voxel sniper is a plugin like worldedit but more focused on terra forming (creating a landscape)

Just look a lot of tutorials on youtube learning something takes some time

Trust me, its easier than it looks. You just need to watch tutorials or get someone to teach you, it may take some time, but after that it'll be a breeze.

We have it on the build server, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to add to Map Maker
