  • Why is the combat not skill based?

    ok, so I'm 1v1ing a guy
    I'm landing 3x the hits and the guy literally only spases

    I drop a full clip into him, he turns around and two shots me (first hit did 8 hearts).

    Why does this happen? Why is skill not decided by accuracy or the damage you deal, but how fast you can click? Why is the combat essentially based off of jittering fast and then holding down your mouse button until your spas is empty?

    this literally makes zero sense. It promotes autoclicking and I would say a good deal of the "top 10" players are the "top 10" because they can click faster than 14cps.

    Which is why I suggest some sort of CPS cap.

    now, before I have all the ****** painsprayers screeching at me about how I'm bad at paining, I'm not even that bad (I butterfly at 11cps), but everyone just pains faster.

    You see, a cps cap (preferably at 12-14 cps) would prevent people from being able to tank 7v1s and bail every fight, or just win them because they click fast and hit less (get lucky).

    So that's an idea.

    I remember the old days, when guns were 2D, and painkiller spam was never a thing, yet you could still kill and survive. I have no idea what they nerfed and buffed to change that, but I kinda miss the 1.7 TMD. Combat was a lot fairer.

    I agree I've done multiple 1v1s where I'm getting 3x the hits and they turn around and I get 2 shot by a spas and its not fun -.-, also I feel like how fast you can click is a huge deal skill wise not even for spamming pains, when it comes to the katana and some guns you have to be pretty decent at clicking unless ur just not gonna combo in ur 1v1- and it isn't promoting the usage of autoclicking at all. If it was all about perfect aim/ accuracy and no other skill wouldn't it be "promoting" the usage of aimbot and other hacks?

    Aimbot for guns doesn't work in TMD. Your argument is invalid.

    It definitely IS promoting it, lol, that's why a good deal of the top players have been accused.

    It's honestly not hard to have a really high cps. Butterflying (which takes about a week to get decent at) gets you to 12-11cps peak, and jittering is literally only practice based and not skill.

    your point has zero validation. Adding a cps cap would not

    -make people want to use aimbot and "other hacks" because if they did before they would have already

    -create more people using autoclicker as it would be much more balanced and combat based

    not even gonna mention that I really never understood your sentence in the first place, so if I misunderstood just say something.

    I agree 100% with this post, The combat is based on who can "tank" the most and whoever gets a lucky spaz that does 8 hearts. When I first joined this server it was perfect, full juggs could actually die to a normal barret, now it's rare to see, and I hit mostly all my barret shots and they still don't die, no one has gun skill anymore and its all about tanking and katana. Honestly annoys me how the pvp is now.

    I agree 100% with this post, The combat is based on who can "tank" the most and whoever gets a lucky spaz that does 8 hearts. When I first joined this server it was perfect, full juggs could actually die to a normal barret, now it's rare to see, and I hit mostly all my barret shots and they still don't die, no one has gun skill anymore and its all about tanking and katana. Honestly annoys me how the pvp is now.

    If you guys deal with it all the time, ask someone with infinite to buy a Spas, barrett root and pains,. like this, "if you can't beat em' join em'"
    selling out might not be cool, but you will stand a chance

    When the needed jug we rebelled the issue is the gums to be fair just boost gun damage a bit maybe just add damage to reg barret to even things out? If we nerf pains too it won't balance out we should try different things at a time maybe with an og beta test team and a new player team. That way we can make sure both community's agree with how everything works.

    shotguns are op, but snipers aren't and neither are automatics, but half the time it doesn't matter since people just rank 7v1s and run away

    Ever since the big new update everything got fked up...
    Hell night has been down and that was honestly one of the most fun things on this server, and combat is really dumb. Not to mention all the bugs they still haven't fixed, and that's caused the server to start dying. The owners are actually probably still working hard on this server since they are adding a lot of new content but I think they are just having trouble with the coding or something.

    AimBot is for bows, you would need something like AutoTarget that looks at the person no matter what your holding
    yeah but on (blanked out for privacy) server jugg doesn't really matter and it's actually fun playing solo
    I know what server ;) and yeah the jugg on there is balanced by not being too op but also giving slowness. And its craftable
