Over the few weeks that have passed by after the reset in December, I have started to recognize a significant decrease in the number of players playing on the server. Despite all the solutions that have been posted by others offering in-game solutions, I have a simple one that could flood the server. If possible, hiring a YouTuber who has a significant amount of subscribers ranging from 100k-5 million could give this server a try, maybe make a Let's play about it. This will attract all their viewers to join the server and experience the Mining Dead! The difficult part of this suggestion is actually hiring the YouTuber or coming to deals with him/her. Paying them could be an option or a long term investment that would become successful or sponsoring them could be another. Even though these solutions are vague, I hope they do imprint a clear image of what I'm trying to explain. To summarise this awfully short paragraph...

Hire a YouTuber or sponsor them (must have a decent amount of viewers) -----------> More players will join and buy ranks, meaning that the investment is paid off--------------> profit is generates significantly-----------> More players, more money for the server, more money for the owners, a wholefully amazing experience for the players-------> Everyone wins.

Preactical, but most probably affective! Comment down below to modify this, express your opinion or even suggest another idea! Have a great day folks! Cheers!

Although I don't agree with your idea, I do believe that we should make a new trailer for the server. (Showing off the new map Etc.)

It is a great idea, but I think a lot more players will quit because of all the noobs that are overflowing the sz.
this is just in the worst case.

I think this idea is helpful. In addition, maybe we should advertise the server further and try to open up a different market ?

Which market? We open to the MC market, the star wars market, the minigame market, the survivaly market, and much more.

To a different groups of players. This is a Canadian server and its players are mainly from the US, Canada and Australia. There is a much bigger and potential market and maybe we can try.

A large youtuber joining the server would get more players, and that means more donators, but there are bad things about it.
    More players equals:
    More hackers
More filled up lobbies (say they fill up TMD-1. Now, trying to get in will be harder, because now they'd be filled up more)
More little kids (most minecraft youtubers are meant for little kids, and we all know how toxic some of these guy's fans are)
Also, I don't want a bunch of small children talking in Global Chat about the Chewbacca guy (I forgot his name) or whoever you guys get.

There are quite a few solutions to this problem... We have a sufficient anicheat or with the revenue collected the owners could possibly buy a create a brand new anti cheat.
I guess we should aim to hire a popular view who gets a 'sufficient' number of views who targets players who are from a certain age range. For example 12-18 year old players on this server would be an excellent thing as some of them hare mature and have access to purchasing items of interest on the store.

Filling up servers, well that won't exactly happen because as the owners realise that the server capacity is too small, it'll be upgraded. Purchasing a rank may help bypass the queue. This is another reason why there'll be a typhoon of revenue flowing in for the server and new players from the age range mentioned above coming to join the server. :D

Its very hard to find a Minecraft youtuber that aims at teenagers because, well, there are almost none. If there is a big youtuber that focuses on Minecraft, 90% of that community will be under the age of 11, even if he aims for 12 - 18 year olds.
