So, i've been thinking about a new travelling system which would be a bit more realistic than warping away, but also adding new layers of interaction in the game.

Instead of just having fast travel commands I thought about scattering Travellers npcs across the map. In the above example I broke it in 5 sectors: G, C, B, R and Y.
Suppose you're in the warehouse (sector R, near berx) and needed to meet someone in prison (sector G). Instead of shouting for someone nearby (so you could tp to him or vice-versa), you would need to find the R-sector traveller. For this example, he could be outside Berx gates. So, you'd need to walk/drive from the warehouse to Berx to find this npc.
Once you found him, he will ask you if you are willing to travel with him. He would charge you a fee (based on the desired travel distance), but you would get to your destination quickly and safe. If you do not have the coin, you could toss some weapons (but for an inferior price compared to the SZ's traders), at least you'd get to your destination.
This traveler npc could also give you a wild variety of tasks, like bringing him some supplies, killing X ammount of walkers from a given area , finding him some needed parts for his vehicle etc. In exchange for your services, he'd reward you with money, traveling vouchers or maybe some rare loot he found in his journeys.
I think this would be a cool way to engage the community, setting rendez-vous points, creating more uses for currency and maybe adding some more tasks!

Uh... this seems pretty cool over all. I mean this could never be added to TMDC but this could be quite a hit on TMDPVP and TMDPVE. But I was kinda confused about, is the npc who teleports you to sectors require different items every time or makes you kill like 10zombies to teleport? This seems pretty confusing and idk if this could be added.
