Can't join the server on 1.9

Havoc thought it would be a good idea to downgrade to 1.8. I don't know if this is a glitch, or maybe they went through with the plan to downgrade

TMD is downgrading to 1.8, but 1.9+ will still be compatible. I can connect to the server just fine on all versions 1.8+.

I'm pretty sure that TMD is 1.9+ for a reason, this may be due to plugin compatibility, for example some of the features on TMD may only be compatible for 1.9+. There most definitely has to be a reason for why some of the servers are 1.9...

Nickk said in a post the server would "downgrade to 1.8 because so many people still play 1.8" Rip dual wielding ;-;

Hello! Did the "reset the network service (wifi)" worked fine? If I could suggest a few more tricks who helped me...

• Impossible to update minecraft
  • Using an another computer, try to install minecraft on a USB key, then copy a up to date version on your old computer. It worked for me.
    • Note : As reset, deleting [...] may help C:\Users\NaMe\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
    • But don't forget to make a copy of your map
  • I use 11.2 at the moment and version 1.9 is the minimum who worked fine for me.
  • Be aware that older version have bugs like cars who disappear when spawned

• Stay connected on the server
• Any action who will lend more stability to the game itself may help.
  • Using a stability enhancer software ex : https://www.razerzone.com/cortex
  • Keeping your own computer up to date : OS, Drivers...
    • My graphic card is too old for the new minecraft launcher, but the old launcher still work.
  • Check wifi stability (Wifi, others services)
  • Offer more memory usage to Minecraft
    • There is a computer command to create a memory dump, It may help
