Hello I've took some stats to help balance the game . I may not be right on everything and Its an open threads so anyone could contribute! Feel free to comment, post different stats and complete ideas.
Kit Soldier, sniper and scout got a (kit bonus) called main hand. No scope = Soldier got 9dm, sniper got 3dm but +20% attack speed. scout got 7dm.
And Hunter got a +2 bonus in armor
Soldier : Military set + 32 pains + combat knife + M9 + AK47
Sniper : Leather set + 32 pains + combat knife + M9 + M14
Scout : Riot Gear + 32 pains + Combat knife + Colt + P90
Heavy : Military + 64 pains + Fire axe + M9 + M60
Hunter : Riot Gear + 64 pains + Fire axe + Mossenberg + Crossbow
Armor :
Leather set = 1+3+2+1 = 7/20 armor (26% protection) bear 10dm
Military set = 2,5+5+4+2,5 = 14/20 armor (54% protection) bear 13dm
Riot Gear = 3 +6 + 4,5 + 3 = 16,5/20 armor (64% protection) bear 15dm
Hunter = 18,5/20 armor (72% protection) bear 17-18 dm
20/20 = bear 18-19 dm
Melee :
Combat knife = 6dm + 4s bleed
Fire axe = 8dm + 4s bleed + contusion 8s
Machete = 8dm + 5s bleed
Fire arms :
pistol
M9 = 2dm (12)
Colt = 8dm (6)
Glock 17 = 3,5dm (17) .5s fire rate = 7 DPS
Sniper Rifle
R700 = 8,5dm (10) 1.s fire rate = 8,5 DPS
M14 = 7dm (10)
Winchester = 10dm (10) .5s fire rate = 20 DPS
Barret .50 Cal = 13dm (10) 1s fire rate = 13 DPS
Assault Rifle
M4 Carabine = 2,5 DM (30) = 7s to empty with instant reload = 10-11 DPS
AK47 = 4dm (30)
Sub machine gun
MP5 = 2,5 (30) = 7s to empty. = 10-11 DPS
P90 = 3dm (30)
Light Machine gun
M60 = 3,5dm (100)
Shotgun
Mossenberg = 9x6 dm (8) 1.1s fire rate = 16 [24-48] DPS
Remington 870 = 8*8 dm (8) 1s fire rate = 64 DPS
Special / Bolt / Flare
Crossbow = 11dm, 2s fire rate = 5,5 DPS
Flare Gun = 2dm, 2s fire rate + 4 fire damage upon 2sec. = 3 DPS
Suggestion :
A)
Every weapons seems really well balanced! Especially Mossenberg, M14, M60 and P90! But I feel something is not right about AK47.
AK47 is supposed to be made for assault (mid-long) range. Usually a sniper rifle may be able to shot when not scoped, but is quite hard to switch target. And since this game mode is more about the amount of damage you could bear, having an AK47 who only make 4 dm when a regullar m14 does 3-7 dm, where players doesn't care about bearing a single hit. It make the whole assault rifle categories being pointless!
Ak47 is supposed to be the best of his own categories! So Its why I suggest to add a +1 dm to no scope damage, as long as a + ,5 dm to the P90 might not be a bad idea as well! Note I don't think this would make M60 become unbalanced since he have a faster attack rate who lend some similar effect to contusion.
Summary :
AK47 : +1 dm = from 4 to 5
P90 : +,5 dm = from 3 to 3,5
M60 : 3.5 dm
B)
Shotgun and his pellets?
Could we keep the actual DPS for the shotgun as his quite nice and balanced, but change a few parameters?
Question : Why would a single pellet made more damage than a rifle / sniper / machine gun bullet?
Suggest to increase the amount of pellets triggered by every shotgun, as it would be funnier to see and easier to hit a target, while lowering the damage!
Summary :
Mossenber : 9x6 (8) per 1,1s fire rate ~=~ 49 DPS
lower dm by 1,5 : New data : 7,5x7 (8) per 1,1 fire rate = 47 DPS
.....................2,25...................6.75*8 (8) per 1,1 fire rate = 48 DPS
.....................3........................6*9 (8) per, 1,1 fire rate = 49 DPS
C) As Minor change, add more accuracy to Colt Python?
