There is no questioning that Berx has been the traditional center of PvP ever since the beginning of TMD.

Currently, Berx is a single square box in the middle of a massive open plain with a hill in front of it. You can literally see and snipe someone coming at you from 200 blocks away.

I think Berx was in its best state when it was in the middle of the woods, where the Motel safezone currently is.
The woods and structures gave Berx such a tactical appeal that I loved, and it really gave me the airsoft/paintball vibe that I enjoyed more than any other map had ever given me.

I haven't seen anyone bring this up before, and I'm curious to see what you all think about the ideal terrain for our PvP center.

If enough people are in favor of a more tactical setting with trees and cover, perhaps we can make a push for Berx to be moved back to where it was previously.

Personally, I like berx where it is, so there is:

    a) No tree snipers, just fast paced open pvp.
    b) It's the original location from the 1.7 map, thus providing old players like myself with a bit of nostalgia.
-In regards to the location, it also has a direct path to Atlanta. Even thought the School Sz is the most efficient way into Atlanta, it's still cool.
    c) There's a massive mine within the hill that's fun to explore, plus the teasing vault with jugg on the walls

Rather than moving it I think they should build a city around it. Then Berx won't need to be moved AND it would have tactical pvp.

As practical as building a city is, I think that’s asking a bit much of the builders, and it would honestly take so much longer to get done than moving it back to its previous location.

I hope you’re aware of what the change to painkillers means when it comes to fast paced pvp. Health regeneration is now ridiculously slower than it was before. You actually have to duck for cover if you want to regain full HP during a fight. The “Fast-paced” PvP you have in mind is multiple people jumping out in Kit Assassin and pinging down a full Jugg whose only way to get away is down either of the roads or an open hill.

I gotta mention too, that I love the school Safezone xD it’s so much more tactical with tight hallways and classrooms.

But who knows, maybe kit assassin spamming won’t be the meta, and the fact that you can’t painspam anymore won’t really make much of a difference.

Okay so, here's my take. An industrial themed factory like Berxley is oddly placed, but it would be more oddly placed in a forest. Even if, I think that it looks better open fielded, as it's more open and more recognizable. And in regards to the old map, perhaps a fully revamped old map would be nice to see, BUT, with the amount of work the builders have pulled off with all the other maps, plus the new one, I think it would heavily demoralize them, and further, we lose builders.
Because well, think of it like this. You spend hours on end every day to establish something, whether it be an innovation, or in this case, a building to replace the other, hours, upon hours, hundreds of hours of multiple people's lives, to build a map.
Then they want their old one back.
Demoralization isn't really the right term to describe what would happen. The builders would be pissed.
That's pretty much enough said. Analogies 'nd crap out the window, the builders don't want their stuff thrown out the window. Because well, it looks great. The old map on the other hand, despite being small and sweet, would be a downgrade of what it is right now. We can't please everyone, so just put up with what we have right now.
In regards to tactical-ity, you can't really be tactical in TMD. You can't really stack up, have a point man, breacher, and all that jazz, because there's really no strategy, and really no loss when you die. If we want a tactical TMD, we'd want gear that's actually hard to earn, not just jugg, but we need players to earn all the gear, whether it be through thorough looting of loot that's only located in certain areas, and, yes. this exists, but how many times out of 10 are you guaranteed to find a tier 4 gun in a military bag? How many times out of 10 are you gonna get killed by a dude with a Glock 17? Seriously. Guns are not balanced here. M9s fire 9mm rounds, the same caliber round that the CZ P09 fires. The Glock 17 fires the same caliber round as the CZ-P09, the MP5, all of these fire the same caliber, just on different platforms. Yes, some of them spit it faster, and at higher velocities, but pistols like the M9, CZ P09, Glock 17, are all full sized pistols, and I don't think that any of them shoot peas right?
They're made, to kill. BUT. For balancing purposes, we can't be tactical in this game. We can't have that aspect where a guy with a pistol can kill a fully geared guy with a properly landed shot.
Welcome to TMD. It stands for The Mining Dead, unfortunately not Tactical Minecraft Deployment.

Ok, no need for the condescending tone (apologies if you didn't mean it). I say fast-paced, because it is. Yes, the healing is slower, so you have to kill your attacker ASAP, or you're gunna die. So, it is still fast paced. (Also, pain spamming PvP was slow and a complete bore). And there's nothing wrong with jumping down in Kit Assassin: there has been changed, so people adapted.

You need to make smaller comments. XD They're so long I just ignore them because I don't have 30 minutes to fully absorb the content in them.
