Fear the Walking Dead Survival Servers

Hello all! I dont know about many of you, but i enjoyed watching the two seasons of Fear the Walking Dead that are currently out so far. Then i got to thinking. "Why not make a Fear the Walking Dead Minecraft server?"

The map would work just like The walking dead servers, featuring all the locations on Fear the Walking Dead. There is an issue that may come up, which is the fact that there was a large amount of time spent on the water, and a long distance was traveled between California where the show started, and then Mexico. I believe though that it would still be possible to build.

Features of the Fear the Walking Dead gamemode:
- 1 Pvp and 1 Non Pvp server to start with. Possibly more if it catches on.
- All of the locations of Fear the Walking Dead.
- Possibly new kits based off of the characters in Fear The Walking Dead.
- Maybe but not entirely needed, would be some form of boat, to make it more like the tv show.

I hope you all like this idea! Feel free to offer any advice or ideas you may have!

Oh, yes! I would love a FTWD map! I am loving the show so much, it would be great to have map based on it! Love this idea!

Glad to see positvie feedback so far! @_Tachi_ if you like The Walking Dead at all, i suggest you find and watch Fear The Walkign dead as well. it is certianly worth your time!

It's a great idea, but the builders are just finishing up the new walking dead map, so it would be awhile if they decided to implement it.

Instead of making it a totally diff server, you can !ake it like a gamemode like mine wars, beacause you need to seee if amy1 actually wamts to play it. And accordi g to the number of players, you can decide whether you wsmt to start a dedicaed server for it

I believe an LA map was planned, but then Mine Wars and the new TMD map were planned & built, so it was forgotten.

Hmm if thats true that is a shame. Maybe after all of this major updating is over they can start it.

I'd love to see what some of the staff members on here think!

The idea was not forgotten, it was scrapped. Reasons being fear the walking dead just doesn't have near the popularity that the walking dead has and it wouldn't be worth the time to build a map of all the locations that fear the walking dead has added in its second season while still at the same time adding new locations from the walking dead such as oceanside.

Aw, that sucks.. Hopefully one day it's made for this server or hell just someone somewhere else makes it. I'd just love to explore a map of the FTWD world, I love the show so much! *goes to google to see if there's a ftwd map someone made*

Maybe is a few more seasons it would become a more realitive idea. I do agree though, there arent enough locations yet to make it worthwhile.

I hope they do follow through with this idea edventually though!!!

Los Angelas could be the biggest location on the map. While Like a large part of it is Ocean on one side. The map would go all the way down into Mexico like in the show. Basicly the whole west coast would be the map.

It could certianly be done if some area was left out.

Mexico could add completly new terrain that we havent seen yet in any of TMD servers we have now, such as deserts and montains, which i think would be cool.

Ya, communities in the old map are hard to find a safe place since when you announce a community, there are only a few places thou could go

Hey guys. Thought i would post my ideas for the kits on the FTWD servers if there ever were any.

Travis: A crowbar , Glock 17, 3 pistol clips and strengh 1 (Remeber he killed those two guys who killed his son with his bare hands)
Madison: Combat knife, Glock 17, 3 pistol clips, and 3 bread
Nick: Combat knife, zombie guts, 8 painkillers
Victor: G36c, 2 assult clips, fishing net (Boat if my previous idea of boats on these servers is some how included)
Chris: Hammer, M9, 2 pistol clips, cap
Ofelia: Combat knife, backpack, water bottle, m9
Liza: Dull knife, Glock 17, 3 medkits, 3 bread
Daniel: Remington 870, 16 shotgun shells, Wooden bat, cap
Alycia: Screwdriver, m9, 2 medkits, 1 pistol clip, 3 bread
Luciana: Combat knife, m14, 1 sniper clip, water bottle
Marco: Machete, m16a4

I dont know if these would work, but there ar emy ideas. Most of them are more boring/weak than i would like, but most of the characters in the show havent really had the chance to find any items and use them that would be able to be put in a kit for them. Hopefully they arent too boring.

If you guys have any suggestions or if i missed anyone important, please let me know!
