    This was an idea I threw around for a bit and thought I’d bring it back. Just a copy-paste from an old doc. Ik it probs won’t happen but it’s fun to think about.

    NC- Nerfcraft (maybe a better name). This would tie the best parts of TMD and MW together into two new game modes with new gun mechanics and a different take on pvp.


    NC-T Turf Wars

    Mechanics.

    Health - 10 hearts retextured to be 10 “tags” or “lives”. Each gun does exactly 1 tag (some exceptions, shown under “guns”) and damage would not be healable. Once a tag is gone, it’s gone until you lose all 10 and you get “eliminated”. There would be no armor, and most matches would be even. It would either be who has the better guns and the better working knowledge of their arsenal.


    Loot - Guns would not be lootable (if they are they’d be INCREDIBLY rare) like TMD or MW, you have to buy them. However, as in real life nerf wars, they do not drop upon death. Once you buy a gun, you own it (essentially Keep Inventory on). What you can loot for is ammo/magazines and money. Loot chests would only be in bases (mentioned under “map”)


    Guns - Guns would have Categories (referred to as their Line) like TMD, but there would be a sub-title for their Class. All guns do the same amount of damage of 1 tag except for Mega Line or Sniper Class which do 2. No tiers, just whatever you prefer. When you start off you get a free gun to start you off. You get money for looting, getting tags/kills, capturing bases, etc.


    Guns would require priming.

    Springers - Every time you right click you prime. Left click is fire. I know this is different than TMD/MW but it feels more natural. If a gun has slam fire, you can hold right click and spam left click for rapid fire.

    Flywheels - Electric guns. To prime you have to hold right click like springer slam fire, but rate of fire is higher and accuracy is higher. SemiAuto - 1 left click per shot. FullAuto - Hold down left click to spray.


    Examples

    Rival Line - pinpoint accuracy. Best line.
    Kronos - Rival Line, Pistol Class. Ammo - 5 loose rival rounds. Springer Single-fire Prime.
    Hera - Rival Line, Blaster Class. Ammo - 7 round rival mag. Flywheel SemiAuto Prime.
    Hades - Rival Line, Sniper Class (2x Damage). Ammo - 60 loose rival rounds. Springer Slam-fire Prime
    Khaos - Rival Line, Blaster Class. Ammo - 40
    round rival mag. - Flywheel FullAuto Prime.
    Nemesis - Rival Line, Heavy Class. Amoo - 100 loose rival rounds. Flywheel FullAuto Prime.

    Elite Line - Common and cheap, inaccurate.
    Disruptor - Elite Line, Pistol Class. Ammo - 6 loose elite darts. Springer Slam-fire Prime.
    Delta Trooper - Elite Line, Blaster Class. Ammo - 12 round elite mag. Springer Slam-fire prime.
    Surgefire - Elite Line, Blaster Class. Ammo - 15 loose elite darts. Springer Slam-fire Prime.
    Rapidstrike - Elite Line, Blaster Class. Ammo - 18 round elite mag. Flywheel FullAuto Prime.
    Stryfe - Elite Line, Blaster Class. Ammo - 12 round elite mag. Springer Slam-fire Prime


    Ammo/Magazines - Magazines start off empty. You reload them like a gun on TMD. Press “q” and it would begin loading. Depending on the capacity of the magazine, it would take that many darts out of your inventory. If you don’t have enough it won’t load. When you reload a gun, it deposits an empty mag into your inventory and pulls a full one, unless of course it loads from loose ammo, in which the darts are pulled one by one out of your inventory like shotguns on TMD.


    The Map

    The Map would have a few safezones like TMD, however there would also be Bases. The bases would be capturable via a stand like in MW Conquest. Players can spawn at a Safezone or a base their team controls by 100%. There would be shops in safezones and bases with better prices at bases. You can buy guns, ammo, magazines, and melees there. Melees would be like 1 or 2 things. A sword that does 2 tags and a knife that does 1. Or something.


    Teams

    4 to 8 teams, depending on what’s decided to be best. Once a team is selected, it cannot be changed until you are eliminated. Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, White, Black, Purple. Guns repaint to match your team color.


    NC-HvZ - Humans Vs Zombies. Similar to HN, but without pvp. Survive wave after wave of zombies until one person stands. Small map, and guns can be used from Turf Wars.

    It's an interesting idea but it's essentially TMDPVP with a few mechanical differences.Why re-invent the wheel? If you can come up with a really solid TMDPVP substitute, then I think you're idea would have much more success. Best of luck

    It sounds more rich than the actual TMD stage (zero bullet drop particle with single/burst shot).
    I also love the idea of bounding equip with you (similar of learning a recipe), this way you can build your way up and experiment what best suits you
