Problems with Advanced Pack

First of all, i cant use the advanced pack because if i ever apply the pack when i get into a mining dead server, it would load, and when its done, it would kick me out of the server, and say connection timed out on the screen. Idk if its my computer (i think it is) but is their a way to fix this?

Before you guys say anything, here's what i already did:
1. I did delete, and download the advanced pack again (MANY TIMES) ; Doesn't work
2. I download the Advanced pack on the website ; Doesn't work (Actually, i dont know if the server recognize the Advanced pack that i downloaded on the website)
3. I deleted ALL of my server-resource-packs, and downloaded the Advanced Pack; Doesn't work
4. I cant think of anything else but i did alot of things and again; Doesn't work

So if anyone has any suggestions on fixing this problem, leave a comment and help me please! Thanks!

it is your computer, you might need a strong computer to run it, it does the same thing with my computer as well so i just stick with the basic pack
but it runs great with my imac.

I knew it was... i think i need a faster computer or something. Thx for the info m8!

I think i can live my life and play the game without the Advanced Pack...

disable all downloaded resource packs

go in the mining dead

once any resources load, type /resource

click the thing in the bottom right corner

after about 2 minutes, log out to the home screen of minecraft

go into resource settings and turn on downloaded pack

enjoy

When you mean by disable all downloaded resource packs, do u mean delete them? and what is the thing called that is in the bottom right corner?

Go to options, then go to resource packs (1st image) , then click the grey arrow on all of the texture packs on the right half of the screen (hover over them so the arrow pops up) (2nd image)

Go in tmd and do /resource. Click the red thing in bottom right corner (3rd image)

It doesn't work. Whenever i try to load the Advanced pack, it goes back to the default minecraft resource pack.
I even tried it in the server: Doesn't work
I even tried it in singleplayer: Doesn't work
It only works with the Super Basic, and the Basic pack...

Check you gb memory,you might need a stronger computer.

CPU and graphics quality also impact if you can use Advanced. If you're running off of standard Intel graphics from some random i5 or i7, try installing Optifine. It's an awesome mod that will let you turn your graphics down enough so it's fast enough to handle Advanced.

I remember optifine... good times... eh ill try it someday and see if it works... (btw i have Intel Core i3 which is kinda bad i think)

For me everything above Super Basic all the blocks turn black and mobs+chest have texture of super basic. I really hate it and it makes no sence because I have used 3d gun model textures in different servers and they work.

They might not be as big as the TMD packs. Remember that these guns are very detailed. More so then I've seen on any other server.
