Exactly right. I'm not going to name names but what was said above was very rude and is going to upset a lot of staff members who have worked hard. I myself am upset as I have put in countless hours into my helper role and have dealt with so much just to get this. Some staff members are not active at this time but that is due to stuff in real life and will be back soon. As staff we all let each other know when we aren't going to be active. I can tell you right now that less then half of the staff team are inactive at the moment. Also you can't call any staff member a random. They are only a random to YOU because you didn't know them before they were staff. I will not go any further as I can see others have posted on this with valid points.

Well, some staff members are rarely on, while others are on, like, 5 days a week. This is a huge gap and rarely being on starts at being a new helper (Usually one no one's even seen on the server.) than decreases when/if they are promoted. When/if people are promoted to Sr. Mod it seems like they are online the most. (HellomanMC and Katitude are pretty active.) than increases from there. The more active helpers like EmiliaWu and The7thCpt are the ones who still aren't promoted. (Who has actually seen more than 3 of the Jr. Mods online in the last month?) I am not one to assume people's activity, but some of these nobody's turn into helpers and do little to nothing imo. (Legendary_Revo and Saint_Ash, I'm looking at you.) I have no business in the staff's reasons to hire new staff, but some of these people are never on. I don't care what they said on their app. they are no use to the server when they are never on. Just sayin'. Also, if I could use some shameless promotion, I would be online all of the time if I was helper, as I am now and would help a ton of people, as I do now.

This forum post was never to scrutinize the staff team's activity. I was just suggesting they try to spread themselves out whenever they are on. The staff team isn't huge and there are 13 servers on the network so just because you don't see any staff in tab, doesn't mean that they aren't on the network or in vanish.

I understand, though it appears that whenever a suggestion that could be taken the wrong way or influenced differently by specific players, it turns nasty; I'd recommend privately messaging concerns that may trigger some players in case they interpret your thread differently than intended. ^u^

To see if staff are on, I think there's a command (it shows the number of staff on, and the number of players on) so maybe telling more people about it would help with the "staff not online"

A random (at least my definition in this situation)
Someone who appears rarely, or suddenly. Some of these inactive staff will suddenly join for an hour or so, then just leave and not be seen again for a week. I have spent entire days (all 23:55 hours) on havoc, either directly playing or watching others live stream from different servers on the server, and I have still not seen a few of the staff consistently join (none are as elusive as Ignitingice, who we can't find in game, though he's on the forums a lot XD). I get that staff have lives, and that's fine, but if you are unable to join for long periods of time, maybe get another staff to fill in? (or get more staff, but make sure they are quality ) Much love <3

Alright Mr_Potatoes. Completely disrespectful to be pointing out who you believe (In YOUR opinion.) Is active and who is not. But each one of the staff members have different roles to play. Such as; if one isn't moderating but are afk in hub, they'd probably be working on the appeals of players. Which majority have us have sent at least one in. Also, Saint_Ash I see on very frequently, but he's probably not in your time zone. So please take into consideration that all people aren't from America on the staff team. Have a nice day. (Please note, by doing this you appear to be attempting to slander the staff team, which due to how hard they work. Is pretty disrespectful.)

Quite frankly, I've seen Saint_Ash and Revo on a lot helping out in chat. Just because some players don't help in YOUR timezone, does not mean that they don't help at ALL. Most staff do have real life responsibilities and cannot stay on the server the whole time. Ever since I was a helper, I strived to be on the most and help the most, but it's not about activity, it's about how well you do your job. Promotions are given to staff who higher staff think have matured more over their time as a Helper and would fit being a Jr Mod. You say after promotions, activity goes down, that is false. Take myself for an example. I've had a consistent amount of activity within being Helper and in my position of Jr Mod at this time. Also, with your "shameless self promotion", if you think you'd do good as a staff member, go ahead and apply. We're not stopping you. It's up to Higher staff to decide whether you're fit for it, and every person they have chosen, they have been correct. I have seen nothing but amazing effort from all staff members and love working with them on this server.

Ok, ok. Time-zones and IRL responsibilities may come into play. I am not trying to paint a target on the staff (Or "Slander" them), but trying to make a point. Some staff members are rarely on and we know who they are. I will delete my post for me being irrational and ignorant. Thank you for being polite about it, too. I did not want to be so rude. I'm sorry.

I would just like to say that i do come on everyday when i can, also Mr_Potatoes if you have not seen me online it's probably because you live in america and i like in the uk aka 5-7 hour difference and to be honest all the staff do work extremely hard to get issues on the server finished. I would also like to say that. Another thing about what you said on your comment is that you are trying yo predict the most active staff and in your words "Staff who do little to nothing." I can actually say that i am more active than Emilia and The7thCpt however they are on alot, and What you said about "Who has actually seen more than 3 of the Jr. Mods online in the last month" I have actually seen more than 3 Jr.mods on in the last month.
