    Do you think we should have the 15second wait before items disapear removed or changed to 5miniute?

    Hey all! So imagine that you were just in a 1v4 and you won! Theres 4different piles of loot and you can't wait to take it all to your duffles. But wait the items disapear after 15seconds of the death? This has been a problem that no one has made a fourms post about (that I know of). Items disapear within 15-20seconds. I think they should make it so items do NOT despawn or have a 5miniute despawn cooldown because the server has a ClearLag plugin that clears all the items that are not picked up, so why do we need the items to disapear every 15-20seconds and have that plugin? Please comment about this thread and give some non-toxic feedback. @Kyritic

    From personal experience, I think it depends on the amount of players in vicinity? I know that when you die, and you try to go back to collect your items, they're gone bc no players were in the chunks--> so they despawned. Now, in terms of killing someone and getting their loot, I'm not quite sure. Sometimes, I've had loot sit for more than 30 seconds, sometimes a full 3 minutes. I would suggest trying to be as quick as you can and know what loot you really need, ya know? Lag is a big thing on Havoc, so the delay for despawning is probably low in that regards (I think it might also help if, say, we wanted a horde of zombies--> extra entities would clog and make lag). Not sure if that helped, but do what ya will with it.

    Items have never stayed for a full 3mins, and having this added will only do better for the server.

    I'm not fully sure the mechanics, but it would be a good idea (if needed) to extend the period of clear to a little longer. I have no say in the topic, but there would still be certain issues regarding clearing, such as players losing gear during clears at an inconvenient time etc etc. So, there's that to look out for. Then, there's the already laggy gameplay to look out for. With all the players saying they can't play because they're lagging, we would see a decline depending on whether or not the entities do cause more lag, because y'know, people get mad at lag. So, whether or not it will actually be beneficial to people who don't perform well in the first place, that are also having a hard time updating to anything over 1.8, is a debatable topic.

    Oo the lag clear plugin is all gud that isint that problem. If I snipe a player 15seconds later the gear despawns thats what we need changed

    Nonetheless, the reason for the quick despawns is most likely regarding chunks, meaning if you're not around the 16x16 (i think) radius of the loot, itll probably all disappear. im entirely sure how it works, but I guess it would be better in some sense if it had a larger radius or something along those lines

    It seems to be the same mechanics that despawns mobs if the chunk gets empty. Maybe after killing someone they could spawn an invisible entity by the corpse to avoid insta despawn.

    Why wont we just add corpses or bags that collect the loot into one place? And people can break down the corpse or bag by breaking them
