    Hello friends,

I've been playing TMD for a little while now and can say it is a spectacular multiplayer server. The weapons are fun, the map is diverse, and the loot drop rates are generous. PVP is thrilling with rival players erratically crossing your path, often resulting in grandiose firefights and all your loot being at stake. For players of humble income this is no big deal, but this can be devastating for players who have spent tens of thousands of dollars on equipment from the market just to lose it all in one fell swoop. A solution to this is dilemma would be the addition of purchasable, inventory Insurance.

    INSURANCE
    • one time payment, single use
    • purchased in Safe Zone shops
    • price: ~$10k (or any sizable investment to avoid exploit)
    • usage: player keeps inventory items upon death, the insurance is exhausted in its place. Insurance must be purchased again to reinstate the effect.
With this system in place players can utilize their special weapons and gear without fear of losing it all to a chance encounter with some higher level foes; while also maintaining the high stakes PVP experience for players that are low on funds.

This will never be implemented for a ton of reasons lol. First, there would be no point in fighting anymore and would only wreck the current refreshed economy. The whole point of this reset was to clean up the huge stockpiles of legendary guns and Jugg. Adding this will keep them in circulation destroying the economy once more. Plus, this is the exact reason why vaults and bases exist; to store your items. Not to mention that there would be no point in fights anymore because you would actually lose any profit that you could get from a kill. You would essentially waste ammo, medical items, and weapon and armor durability to gain literally nothing. Warzone was made for this exact reason. You can respawn with items infinitely as well as upgrade your gear.

TL;DR: Fights would be rendered useless and would result in a loss of income. Not to mention wrecking the economy by filling it with Juggernaut Armor and Legendary Weapons; which is exactly why we just had a reset.

First, yes, it seems like an interesting feature, but I have to agree with what Mindblaster said. It’ll ruin the economy and make key features of the game pointless. Second, would you really have a State Farm in the apocalypse, to ensure all your “homicidal death equipment” is not lost? So, while yes, it seems like a relief, it just doesn’t make much sense, and, of course, what Mindblaster said.

Plus something like that could easily be exploited or get bugged since you could always just get more loot later on or put it away then get killed and get it back, thus even double the amount of gear
10k is not a restriction by any means, thats the lowest ammount of money you can get from voting crates if im right
