TMD SUCKS

Please don't make threads like this, all they do is put down everybody who put in countless hours of effort to put this update in place for us. They sat in front of computers for almost a year, just to give us this update. The least you could do is pretend to be thankful.

Whatever we had before was not TMD, it was PvP, and this is not a PVP server. It's a "do whatever you can to survive" server.

Actually, I'd say 99% of players prefer the new map, sure, it's big, but there's more to explore! It's realistic! In real life you can't walk from the village to the city in four minutes.

We reset items, nerfed pains, and capped infinite to restore the economy. Almost all the JUGG was dupped, including the shear amounts of money the players with said JUGG were making. We capped infinite because the whole point of the game is to scavenge and survive and fight with what you get. This is SURVIVAL not kit pvp or factions!!!!! Also I think you need a better calculator because most people have been saying they prefer this new map, no where near 99%. And idk why you'd think it would be a good idea to make this new map for only the non pvp only servers, please feel free to elaborate.

I'm going to say this once. Suck it up. Like @DwightTheSavior said, the update was to be able to scrounge and look for supplies. Its not for Jugg wars, PVP, 1v1's. Its for Survival. Sure there can be wars, but if you expect to get 3 stacks of painkillers and spam them, that isn't a war. Its finding a way to cheat out of dying. And again, Jugg was dupped on the old server. Its going to be not showing up as often. As for infinite money, we don't want players with infinite money buying everything and giving it to people for free. Whats the point of doing that? And if you are angry because the map is too big? Why don't you make a new map yourself. Builders spent THOUSANDS of hours working on the new map.. All what we get is a few thank yous and the rest is complaining. It kinda pisses us off.

And before you make a title: "TMD SUCKS" why don't you get some actually proof, or make a longer forum post, so people can elaborate and talk about it. And if you are so angry, please keep it to yourself, or at least not take it out on the forums and angering more players. Complaining won't bring the old map back, or it won't fix bugs. So what I would do is just sit and wait. Patience.

And trust me, Builders don't like it when you talk bad about our map. Unless you want to be hated by builders and staff, I suggest being quiet.

Seeing complaints written like this is tiring, unhelpful and unnecessary, to be frank.

Here is a neat summary of your thread and others I have seen like it from the staff's point of view --->

"OMG TMD is ruined, no more OP pains and Unlimited Infinite so I can't stock up on hundreds of painkiller stacks! wow pvp sucks now, why did the staff have to even the playing field and make everything fair to give other players a better chance and focus more on survival, this is so uncool, I'm entitled to have unfair advantages over regular players in PVP, blah blah blah, Staff need to fix this right now, however, I'll give absolutely no constructive suggestions or criticism on the reset, I'll just whine about it loudly and try to put the staff down, this update is horrible and the server is completely destroyed! ".

I agree! TMD IS TRASH NOW! Come on guys, limiting inf to 100k a day? Like wtf? NO ONE CAN GET GEARED WITH THAT! It takes players lots of money to gear, not 100k. Maybe noobs should get 100k a day auto, but us inf people should get what we payed for. Jugg wars are GONE. You cant fight anymore without pains. 2 nakeds can now drop full juggs, how is that fun. The game should be based on skill, not noobs getting lucky and spam spas or quick clicking.

I get geared with spending $0 a year. If you can't manage with 100k a day you might not be a very good player.

Its for Survival.

I don't like how walkers spawn within less than 10 blocks of you constantly. It's okay if you're always moving, but stopping to type has taken my jugg down to only 13 or so uses left. It turns my gear into tissue paper. It's better with them spawning farther from the player. Plus it's alot more realistic to not have walkers crawling up from the concrete and attacking you.

They can still kind of infer what the rest of the Georgia-DC-Virginia area would look like thanks to Google Earth and some educated guessing. Of course when new locations are revealed they can change things up, and adjust to fit TWD's universe. But that'd be tiresome and maybe for nothing if it ends up being totally different than we guess.

However, places like Macon, the St. John Dairy, Savannah, Wellington, and the Civil War Museum from the game series would be cool additions. We know what those places look like, and it'd fill up all that empty space quite well.

I agree with this. Constructive criticism is fine, but criticism for the sake of being a **** and not giving any constructive feedback is not okay. Be respectful to everyone, staff or not. We're all people here.

I do apologize to you and among other players are at odds with the recent changes to The Mining Dead. As a fellow builder it troubles me to see so many players unhappy with the work that took us a year to do is not to everyone’s satisfaction. Although the map was created for the purpose of being accurate to the show and its locations, as well as being accurate to pvp realism as other marketed games currently are.

With that said; complaining and finding reason to trash the map and builders is not only unacceptable and completely shameful but childish and immature. The builders worked very hard on this as did the owners. The criticism and foul mouthing to online staff members is disrespectful and a clear image to the kind of person you are if you do such acts. This map is the only map on a Minecraft based server that is as detailed and accurate for fans of the comics, shows, and apocalyptic feel.

As for the infinite and cooldowns on items, I’m sorry you feel this is unfair but it was unfair in the start with people who did not have infinite or to players who don’t wield a gold master card to but their way to the top. The reset was announced a month ahead of time and yet people find time to complain about losing items. Sorry but everyone knew it would happen, at least we didn’t do a total reset out of the blue with any warning what so ever.

Lastly; we know the severs are experiencing bugs and problems at this time. Please be aware this is a beta release, as with every new game release even the ones just put on the shelf; there are bugs and issues. We are working hard to fix all the issues that are brought to our attention.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who have given gratitude to the staff members who have made this map possible.

Jawa, I know you're 17, but you're acting like a right little baby at the moment. I shouldn't say things like that, it makes me look unprofessional, but it's the only thing that really describes how you're acting.

Understand that TMD is not a PVP server, it's survival, with guns.

You should be a lot nicer, and understand that people have their own opinions, rather than bashing them with "don't write these when on your period" or another rude remark.

Be nice, deal with the update. Don't be rude. Accept that people have the right to their own opinions. At least pretend to be respectful.
