Now, as for the testers. You guys sure as hell gonna need them in the coming August update. My thought? Start recruiting. Get the testing going and reporting started and have it at least mostly finished by late July, and the final polishing be across August leading into the update.
Only need a group of about 10 people, most of which you could possibly pull out of the apprentice recruits. You can also do another application, a temporary one, for the role.
If possible, have at least 1 but no more than 3 og's, as we can't have a team of players just saying "screw new people we know what's best for us", but we will need their experience to give suggestions here and there about what worked for realism mechanics-wise during the times of prosthetics and such. The "Hard Mode" years if you will.
Have 1 staff member, either current or retired, be selected to lead the group, and give instruction when necessary. But, the team will still have enough freedom to try everything they can to break the game mechanics, and to test guns in pvp against each other for needed buffs and nerfs and such. They will also be allowed to test new rank mechanics and commands and make sure things work, and also be able to check the vaults for vanishing items and check vehicles for being broken. Pretty much anything.
That is all I can think of concerning testing.

they wont do testers because dumb individuals will spoil things and tell other players (their team) about advantages

I actually agree with Peach on this one...Look, Craven may not, but I do. As much as Craven and I have had "beef" in the past, HE IS RIGHT. They were not even done finishing the ranks that they have been planning for months, if not a year, and then reverted back within a week. WHAT? that doesn't make sense. You would think with all the time they had, in between first finding out about becoming EULA compliant, and removing the old ranks that they would have already made plans to make enough money. Essentially, they did no planning at all, and found out AFTER their update that they were not making enough money. I find that very hard to believe though, very hard. What "hard" decision did the owners make reverting back to Pre-EULA? They knew from the start how much money they had to bring in from the start. How would it be a hard decision if they have not even had in place for a week? Also - Craven at no point started "hating" on the staff. This is a mistake I made in the past, assuming he was. Lastly, the work you do and 95% of the staff team do is appreciated, but not even remotely related to this post. I'm not exactly sure why you felt the need to post that, but it's useless. Just my two-cents.
As much as I love Havoc, it hurts to see them do this to the server. Now we're one of those shady servers, p2w, and filled with a toxic community. The EULA update, as seen by the rest of the players, seemed to have no solid ground, no planning, and no intent on staying. I'm just worried about my favorite server, ya know? I was also kinda excited for the EULA update .... .-.

Preach it, familia.here? I was making a point that servers can make a lot of money following EULA if they plan and invest in developers. Also testing a server. Ya know, not releasing something that's incomplete or broken.

And members of the current staff do not? It can be regulated, that is why I said have a leader who has been or is staff, and usually you can get the leakers name out of people. Most staff I have talked to tell me to stop asking.they wont do testers because dumb individuals will spoil things and tell other players (their team) about advantages
