Why Rattler10 is a hypocrite

Sure I might get some flack for this post, but I don't care.

Rattler10 recently warned Cravenpython108 for saying the word "Thot" as a joke. His response was that you shouldn't swear. So that being said I decided to document many of the times that Rattler swore. Before you say "But SSSoupy, a lot of those things were just said as jokes!" well please remember that the whole "Harassing Steg" thing was just started as a joke, and Craven said the word "Thot" as a joke. Clearly to the moderator named rattler/concurrence, nothing is safe from scrutiny.

Also, before you say "SSSoupy, the warn was removed, you have nothing to whine about." While that may be true, it's wrong. Would the warn had been removed if Craven had said nothing? If public outcry is the reason that unfair punishments are rectified then that is a big problem.

No I'm not going to delete this post because its not about making staff look bad or any of the other stupid reasons people have given me. This post is a callout, a callout to all those who would take a joke at face value and then get angry over it. If this is the standard that you wish to impose upon others, then I will impose it upon you, since jokes are no longer jokes. That rape joke you made a few years back? Congrats, since jokes are no longer jokes, it got 10 times worse. It also offended me, apologize for it now. The post stays up, if you can't take a joke block me and move on.

That said, it looks like Rattler really needs to relax. It seems that he even thinks the swearing rule is silly for Discord since he doesn’t mind swearing, himself.

I don’t target people, I treat everyone and same and enforce the rules upon all people. As for the swearing in discord that rule was removed and is no longer there. When that rule was taken down I started to swear on the discord occasionally, as seen by the fact there is only a few screenshots with me swearing.

I find that instead of creating public callouts, perhaps private message them instead. That's something I find is quite mature as opposed to making "callouts" about someone and claiming it isn't to cause anything.

I'm just a player though, and this is my opinion.

Private messages wouldn’t be productive as Rattler is the one with authority in this scenario and he’s already said he thinks he’s right. Amassing more people behind the cause is productive. Once enough people are speaking about it, the problem can’t be ignored. The purpose isn’t public shaming. The purpose is to get more people involved. It’s mainly to stop the joke policing, but fixing the Rattler issue is a side objective.

Edit: I’m totally off target and soup’s purpose is different. I guess I’m just stating my own purpose now lol

I'm not gonna deny that this is an immature thing to do, however, the amount of people getting butthurt over jokes or of harassment that didn't even happen that I felt that this post was warranted. I also didn't want to target anyone in particular (Notice how I said "a callout to all those who would take a joke at face value and then get angry over it.") it seemed rude to me to pm someone and tell them that their sense of humor was ****. So I decided to publicly state my opinion on people who take jokes seriously, while also poking fun at it by taking jokes seriously.

This isn't really public shaming, as you can see, I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of the imgur stuff. One of them was literally "well ****". I'm perfectly fine with everyone just not talking about how people took jokes seriously for a bit but I know that thats not going to happen. Also I fail to see how this would be a 'publicity stunt' as all the publicity I've gotten from this post has been mostly negative. If anything this is an infamy post, as I'm most likely going to go down as "The sour idiot who made fun of staff".

So after I got onto the forums and noticed the warn, my first response was to tag Rattler and ask him what I even did, since he didn't specify or even edit the post to take out any of the mean naughty words. His response was to say that I was lucky he didn't warn me 3 times, and when I asked if he realized how ridiculous he was being, his only response was to say "You realize you're arguing with a mod right?" then state that he didn't have time for this (Which he shortly did). He only started being somewhat reasonable after I pointed out his hypocrisy in front of another mod and a few players, with him having said naughtier things in discord than I said in my post.

So to put it simply, yes, directly discussing it with the staff in question is better, but if they refuse to listen or have a conversation about it, then posts like this are how we can demonstrate how poor their decisions were, and hopefully cause positive change.

As for publicity, I don't really care about getting forums credit or whatever, I just want to be able to make jokes and label people as the t'hots they are without being burned at the stake by staff.

I don't believe this really is a witch hunt, but more of a reminder or callout for the community come forward and stand up to staff being bad and changing it or them. The more debate and conversing brings a community closer with more involvement from us, the players/community taking a stand or have a voice for things happening whether good or bad in the server.
To be brutally honest, our staff team was notorious for being unprofessional and sometimes incapable in doing their job. Currently, I can see some changes, after seeing some more competent and responsive people being selected into the team, which is great but the rule book still needs some heavy fixes.

Sometimes "starting unnecessary drama" brings hidden issues up to light, because we do have lots of issues that still need to be solved together as a community. Our community may be "dead", but we can still solve the problems that could've been fixed and could've kept hundreds of our players still playing this game.

Some people may wonder why I haven't left the forums yet, some of us are still invested in the server's wellbeing and still care what happens to the server, even though it's gone through a lot.

If you can't stand up to questionable authority, you're also allowing them to abuse other people, therefore also making you a victim and a bystander to the situation.

If you look at the dates of the screenshot you can see that the kendra ones are pretty old, so he might be still going for shira
