  • Would you ally with hackers? Team sure does.

Before I get into the jist of things, this is not meant to be a call out on any specific person, but rather, a reflection of ethics. Me and Team sure often banter, because their team always like to laugh at how i only trade on TMD-1 even though I'm more of a pve player. This is not about bantering, rather it is an issue of ethics and morals. Would you ally with a team if you know there are hackers within the team?

Update : Shortly after this post Team Sure has unallied with Team Korea, at that point of time i was unable to update the post due to staff request. But now after Jombieman has been banned I think it is a suitable point to update this thread.

Here is the funny part, @_TeunS says it was an allied bug, but the Co-Leader @VliegendaapjeNL said @_TeunS unallied them.

I still thinks it's pretty weak that they ally Korea, probably because they can't kill them so they rather ally them.

I would highly recommend against allying with hackers knowingly. If you take a glance at our rules page you will see that if you knowingly benefit from a hacker you will receive a one week ban, maybe longer depending on the situation at hand.

There's a problem, a lot of people have reported them for tracers, but staff doesnt do nothing.
Take for example this: Xtin recorded a video of them tracing, he got in prison sneaking at all times, yet they knew where he was.
What happened when the staff saw the video? Insufficient evidence. Guess they just dont care.

Insufficient evidence is insufficient evidence, we do care about stopping hackers but we can't do anything if the video isn't conclusive.

What if you unintentionally receive a random team in Hell Night and it has a hacker in it, but you try to expose and report the hacker identity to staff? (Curiosity)

That's perfectly fine, you would not be punished for being an accomplice.

These days, so many hackers play the server. Lets look at prodigy. All though they ar "good", they had several full juggs in the first couple of days in release, before we got our legend crates. How does this happen? Dupes? Also, nasty and others regen health so fast how is it that it takes me 2 spas shots to die and nasty nater 20? Pains spam or auto click?

what if they are on your team and gave gear, but you only recently found out (and filed a report)? would that be under "benefiting from a hacker" in the rules?

You will get a three day ban for not knowing you are with a hacker. That is what happened to someone I know, then I complained about it. Hope they corrected that issue.

We have changed that rule to make it fairer, if you did not know you were with a hacker you would not be punished. For example if someone was using xray or tracers you would most likely not know about it, so no punishment would be given. On the other hand if someone was using obvious speed that you saw them using and you continued to play with them, then you would most likely receive a tempban.
