4 Days ago I nodest that Helpers cant even ban ore tempban a hacker!
The ''hacker'' was going with flight around the savezone and the helper Waivy_buster(sorry if I got his name wrong) was just standing there and only watched and recorded becouse he was not able to ban him.
My idea is to give Helpers extra power ore just remove the rank.
Yes I know that helpers can warn and more, but let them ban him for an hour until the staff is online.

    Pleas do somting about it.

    (sorry for the bad englisch)

With all due respect, the job of a Helper is to moderate chat and help players. They can record and report hackers to the higher staff so we can check and/or deal with the hackers as that is part of our job. Your next statement might include something along the lines of "But I never see any higher staff online, so they never do their job" but we have perms to go invisible and check hackers; we do this a lot and that's why you never "see" us. You can report hackers you see and we will view the report and watch that player. Sometimes irl situations will pop up as well and we won't be able to pop on for that moment, we have school, etc. You can also use /helpop if you ever see a hacker, but please do not spam it. Moreover, you are able to privately and politely message a Helper asking them if they are able to get higher staff on due to a hacker. Helpers can technically tempban, though their job is not to deal with hackers. Sometimes people may think someone is hacking, and it turns out they get falsely banned by a Helper and that's not fun for anyone. The point though, Helpers have their rank for a reason; they 'help' and moderate chat. :) Once they are ready to be promoted, they become a Jr Mod and catch hackers. If we promoted someone one day and allowed them perms of banning people, things could go haywire. No disrespect to Helpers, they are doing a spectacular job as of now and I am personally impressed with their activity, constant reports of hackers, and more. They are doing their job and we do ours, sometimes we just can't get online at that moment. I will also mention that we deal with reports and appeals, along with getting on to watch and/or ban players whether it be hacking, severe advertising, ddoss threats, etc.

Should helper applications be answered in or within a month, or is that the time it takes for them to be read?

Should helper applications be answered in or within a month, or is that the time it takes for them to be read?

I personally believe it is a matter of two things:
    1. When the staff who promote players are available to go through the time consuming applications.
    2. When we actually need staff members.

We say it may take up to a month, or even longer, mainly due to the fact that we simply don't have time to go through them or we don't need Helpers during that moment in time. Regardless, all applications are looked at eventually and the good ones are surely taken into consideration. :) I can understand it is also difficult to know who would be a fit staff member and things around that area. We do need more staff in my personal opinion and luckily we have some fantastic new members that I am quite happy to have on the team. To all, good luck and I have some tips in case you'd like to read, and apologies if it sounds blunt. (Some of these aren't requirements, but I find the tips are worth reading)

    1. Do not ask for your application to be viewed or it will be closed.
    2. I would be active on the forums, nice to know updates and such, then you can help others on TMD. ^v^
    3. Try not to break any rules, or it may affect your application greatly.
    4. Please put a lot of effort and honesty into your application. Please include proper grammar and give a fullout answer on each question provided. 5. Please do not become inpatient or create a support ticket asking why your application hasn't been reviewed, all Helpers must be patient or things may result in a car crash.
    6. Please be mature. :(
    7. I dearly hope you've been on the server for at least 2-3 months before the creation of an application and I would be happy to see a lot of gametime. ;)
    8. The age requirement we would like is 15 years of age. :)
    9. Visiting team speak frequently would be nice. ^w^

I hope this helped you all. :)

I really hope I didn't seem like I was begging for it to be checked and answered, it was just the first thing I thought of when you asked for more questions :p I haven't made any efforts to get it read or opened any support tickets to get staffs attention. I understand the staff works hard on this server and that there's probably hundreds of others out there waiting for an answer. Thanks for the answer and all the work you do for the server, and sorry if my question came across as rude or anything, I didn't mean it to be that way at all :p

You will most likely be contacted first on the forums, and you can say your new Skype name.

    Witch one do you use?
Fraps doesn't require you to select a screen area, so it's faster, however the free version only lets you record thirty seconds. - I usually use this one.
Bandicam is very laggy, but you can record ten minutes.
Electa has extreme lag, but you can record for unlimited time.
Active presenter is the best one, but it takes too long to open & use.
