Hey! I have a small idea that pretty much passed by while I was playing around on the server. For those who like to keep their vaults organized, or happen to keep a few backpacks on themselves, we all know it can be quite difficult to manage which one is which without any signature names or descriptions. I propose to you, the naming of small pouches, backpacks, and even duffle bags!
I've seen a majority of people having this mess in their inventories or vaults, and trust me, it is not fun. The accessory would be a simple mechanic. Any backpack item you get, of course, says its default corresponding name. But, if you were to type /rename (just an idea for a command), you could rename the held item to whatever you'd like. This may seem a bit boring, but it gets better!
Default | The Default rank would only have the ability to rename their backpacks using the item's original color (cornflower), white, light gray, gray, and black. They can do this using the color codes (&9, &f, &7, &8, and &0).
VIP | The VIP rank would have the same abilities as the above rank, as well as using all colors.
Champion | The Champion rank would have the same abilities as the VIP rank.
Legend | The Legend rank would have the same abilities as the above ranks, as well as using the "bold" feature (&L) and the "underline" feature (&N).
Titan | The Titan rank would have the same abilities as the Legend rank.
Mythical | The Mythical rank would have the same abilities as the above ranks, as well as using all item name features (all colors, bold, underline, italic [&O], strikethrough [&M], which adds a strike through the text, and magic [&K], which "glitches" the selected text).
If a player dies with an edited backpack in their inventory (this can mean any NBT name data renamed by the player), it can be picked up by other players and kept, still with its NBT data. These players can rename it to whatever they'd like, still keeping the items in the backpack. But, if that player changes the backpack name from something that is included as a higher ranked perk, to one of their NBT permissions, they cannot change it back without the higher permission. I'll give you an example if you're a bit confused. "Player One" is a "Default" and "Player Two" is a "Mythical".
Player One | *Kills Player Two.*
Player Two | *Drops a duffle bag named "E".*
Player One | *The player renames it to "no".*
Now that "Player One" has already named it, they can not change it back to the Mythical's original backpack name. For one, it's a color that they do not have permission for because they're not a VIP rank or higher. Number two, the text is bold and underlined, which are only features of the Legend rank, or higher.
Overall, I think this would be a nice touch just to polish up the server a bit! It'd be a big timesaver for many people and I don't think it would require that much effort. If you have any constructive criticism or would like to add additional features, please reply! I would love to see this implemented.
