1. This was a glitch and was patched, it was never intended to be infinite storage which is why duffles and bags weren't supposed to be there in the first place.
2.
why didn't they change it earlier?
While we can't justify why it wasn't fixed or noticed sooner, it is what has happened. Should it have been fixed earlier? Yes. Was it? No. In the end, it was patched because it was giving infinite storage.
3. Instead of complaining about this patch, figure out ways in which we can add new things to improve the situation for unranked players specifically.
4. It is going to make the game challenging, which in a sense makes the experience more authentic to a Zombie Apocolypse.
Unranked fixes:
- Make vault space in the default vault purchasable with in-game money.
- Make the vault space defaulted to the same as a ranked player.
Ranked stuff:
- Change the Titan vault to the "Purchasable Vault" with In-game money.
- Add a third vault "Titan Vault"
- Fourth vault "Mythical Vault"
- Fifth vault purchasable in store
The problem here is that the way that the vaults would work would essentially make them infinite space
if you buy all duffle bags. Default ranks would be able to store 729 items in just a default vault with Ranked players being able to store 1458 items. If the ranked player is a titan, that is 2187 items allowed to be stored. If the player is then mythical, they have 2916 items of storage. This also makes the cost of all the duffles to be $277,200 in total cost (Assuming the player is mythical).
What is missed here is how the patch actually benefits unranked players in one way; the unranked to ranked player (Mythical) item ratio is 4 to 1 regardless of the duffles. But with the duffles
mythical gets, 2916 items compared to
Unranked getting 729. This system favors mythical players by
2187 items. The new patch would decrease the favoring of mythical players to only
72 items. The duffle bag system favors mythical players
30.375x more than the patch.
In the end, this patch balances the game more then is being seen.
