This is directed to the owner, Nick. You killed this server years ago, you lost 900 players because of a flurry of dumb patches, and you think it's a good idea to make it so you can't put duffles in vaults? You know, this server was starting to gain reputation again. Averaging 200 people on good days up from 100, and what do you do: You make a stupid patch.
I hope this message is seen by many on these forums. If you disagree or agree with nick's change, feel free to reply.

I can understand why you’re frustrated by this bug patch when bags in vaults have been engrained into everyone’s gameplay for quite some time now. However, you have to realize that TMD was never supposed to be a gamemode where you hoard a plethora of items; TMD is an apocalyptic game where items are scarce. Infinite storage essentially breaks what TMD was about. Because this recent bug patch was so major, I do hope there is a compromise for non ranks especially though. A single vault with three rows can only do so much.

    My stance?

I both disagree and agree. A little compromise to alleviate the damage for non ranks especially because of this being so sudden can go a long way.

I can agree with you partially. I mean items are too common have you seen how many empty water bottles people can get? I feel like there needs to be rarer loot so that it is hard but duffle in vaults? I am indifference I do not use my vault much anyway.

Oh yeah, rarer loot adds onto the theme of TMD being apocalyptic. I’d love to see that alongside with the duffle patch so you wouldn’t need as much space from less items.

    1. This was a glitch and was patched, it was never intended to be infinite storage which is why duffles and bags weren't supposed to be there in the first place.
    2.
why didn't they change it earlier?
While we can't justify why it wasn't fixed or noticed sooner, it is what has happened. Should it have been fixed earlier? Yes. Was it? No. In the end, it was patched because it was giving infinite storage.
    3. Instead of complaining about this patch, figure out ways in which we can add new things to improve the situation for unranked players specifically.
    4. It is going to make the game challenging, which in a sense makes the experience more authentic to a Zombie Apocolypse.

    Unranked fixes:
    - Make vault space in the default vault purchasable with in-game money.
    - Make the vault space defaulted to the same as a ranked player.

    Ranked stuff:
    - Change the Titan vault to the "Purchasable Vault" with In-game money.
    - Add a third vault "Titan Vault"
    - Fourth vault "Mythical Vault"
    - Fifth vault purchasable in store

The problem here is that the way that the vaults would work would essentially make them infinite space if you buy all duffle bags. Default ranks would be able to store 729 items in just a default vault with Ranked players being able to store 1458 items. If the ranked player is a titan, that is 2187 items allowed to be stored. If the player is then mythical, they have 2916 items of storage. This also makes the cost of all the duffles to be $277,200 in total cost (Assuming the player is mythical).

What is missed here is how the patch actually benefits unranked players in one way; the unranked to ranked player (Mythical) item ratio is 4 to 1 regardless of the duffles. But with the duffles mythical gets, 2916 items compared to Unranked getting 729. This system favors mythical players by 2187 items. The new patch would decrease the favoring of mythical players to only 72 items. The duffle bag system favors mythical players 30.375x more than the patch.

In the end, this patch balances the game more then is being seen.

I agree with _Nards_ it should have been fixed but unfortunately it wasn't and it is now. While most players got used to the glitch it made it easier for players with out a rank to store more items, but keeping this gives a greater advantage to ranked players over unranked. I believe there could be a solution to this and that's making a limit to how many bags can be stored in ones vault(s) still making it possible for ranked and unranked players to keep their important items yet not making it so over powered as to storing 2916 items in a players Vault ( Mythical).

just a reminder, this was a bug that we fixed.... we're not going to re-introduce the bug
