Give HD textures back

Quick and simple: current textures ugly and low detail, bring back the old detailed texture pack (would need new models for the new guns). I know people like @Rejante could probably give you some detailed models.

Someone who is moderator+ please ping the owners. I don't want to because I know they will ignore it from a randie.

Rip it used to be downloadable here on the forums then someone removed it. When you go to the texture download the M16 that shows up is from that pack.

Not what i'm talking about, I'm saying the resource pack file size as a whole. Blocks included.

The guns have a nice shape, but perhaps a bit more... emm... texture, like coloring, would be nice. Instead of an all black barrett, you've got some light gray on this, a bit over there, some dark gray here, etc.

it's possible to make the guns HD and have it compact, bc i'm also pretty sure all the guns were not hollow meaning that the voxels took up more space, meaning the atlas or texture for it would take up more space, so in theory, if i hollowed out all my gun textures and sent them in we could in theory again have a decent looking pack but that's just my opinion lol

the sice of the texture pack depens on the sice of all textures and models it got a bit less because they use only voxel pixel for the currently rp

Well i get were this is all coming from but (no offence) for us rankers we normally use camos so we dont have this problem :I

as a guy who can make guns and stuff 3d i think that havoc could've done a better job with the textures, and could've made it capable of meeting the performance/size criteria, not really sure your statement here, as this post has to do with bringing back higher quality weapon textures, as that was, in my opinion, a really big factor in the gameplay, with ADS (aim down sight) models, it probably brought a lot of players in.

eh i use another program for it, i think that voxels make it more, minecraft-like, which is what should be emphasized, if you want to see some of my work you could check the havoc discord under art

The HD pack was removed due to lag, they said. But they used to have 3 packs--> one for those who lagged (Super Basic), one for those who don't but lag with skins (Standard), and then the special pack with skins (Advanced).

I say bring this back.

Exactly. Give everyone who lags the current pack and give everyone else the good pack.

Havoc needs to add that shotty. Did you make that?
