I just wanted to apologize for my many spelling and grammatical errors above. I was writing these responses at 5AM without any sleep. When I realized I was beginning to make mistakes, I stopped responding. I apologize if this made it hard to understand my point of view, but I believe Katitude effectively summed up everything I didn't mention. c:

i agree with updating the rules, i use voxel mini map (mostly to navigate) and i am very unsure if it is allowed. it will show players in a certain radius, (but dont worry i turn that option off;))

@saintsebastian I would stick to using MapWriter. If the mod has no way of causing an advantage, except for showing the map and no waypoints, mobs, players etc, you should be fine. (I would just use MapWriter though :))

    1. Create a solid and strict age limit. I understand the maturity aspect of it all, I really do. However, anyone can fake maturity over the internet, even with an voice interview. Hell, I've done it myself. Keeping a good and strict age limit, e.g. 16+ somewhat guarantees some type of responsibility factor with the "young" adults, e.g. driving, job, etc. I think it all comes down to how we see values, moral, ethical, and legal.

Disclaimer:I am aware that a lot of staff are young teens (Ages 14-16) from what i have seen and will probably hold prejudice towards this post as they will feel as i am trying to attack the way they do things, However this is really just a personal opinion backed by experience.I will not use any staffs name through out nor will i disclose them in private. So If all this is understood please read the post on without and prejudice and finish it.

I totally agree with point 1 i would say experience and knowledge does come with age so having an age limit does seem like a great idea. This is a generalized statement but i find that young teens will try too hard to act as a white knight for the server and remove some of the fun aspects of a joke (even when it is a completely harmless joke recognized by both parties) because they think it might offend other people and they do this to get recognized by peers.

It also gets fairly annoying when you are a young adult with a education that instills values (ill use myself as an example) getting lectured by a 15 year old that's still in high school or the equivalent. Now personally i am a medical student, this is not bragging however i want to point out the values and responsibilities that are learnt from this type of profession that a i would really question if a young teen thinks that they would know better than me about example professionalism ,self-awareness to name a few.

This all being said however ,i have seen the staff (excluding builders since they do not hold any moderating power) on this server being generally good despite being young teens which i can assume come from years of being a moderator.

So for the people that get to this part i assume u haven't jumped to any conclusions and already typed a negative reply i would assume have a fairly good mental maturity. Which i congratulate you on your professional attitude. keep it up :)

So if there are any questions or criticism that you would like to state or if want me to clarify or elaborate on feel free to ask me or private message me about.

I would also like to point out that most new players do not read the rules regardless. I don't know if anybody has already stated it; in that case my bad.
