Hello dear community!
In this thread I want to present you a cool gamemode, that I think would fit in great on this server.
So what is this gamemode about?
In the gamemode OOTU survivors have to defend theirself against huge hordes of zombies, To win the game all 10-20 players have to cooperate and help each other (PvP is disabled). They have to survive 30 rounds, each round more zombies are spawning. The difficulty: The zombies are coming from every direction. Each map has a few big fences/walls and several small walls/fences. Most of the zombies will automatically try to pass the big wall, but there are a few zombies who are going for the small walls.
If a zombie reaches a wall he will hit it (like a player) and the wall will take damage. Once the durability reaches 0, the wall will break . The players have to prevent this at all costs (at least for the big fences), Every fence (big and small) can be upgraded, this will upgrade will repair the fence AND increase the durability. A Lv.3 fence has also barbed wire, that is hurting the zombie a bit. A broken fence cannot be upgraded or respawned.
For every zombie kill the player who killed it get a zombie soul. With these souls he can purchase weapons, armor and other items. The weapons, resourcepack and armor are the same as in "The mining dead". There are no legendary, tier 3 or 4 weapons or armor. On top of that there are no RPGs, and Molotow-****tails. Juggernaut or Riot Armor, Grenades are very expensive, because the deal splash damage.
The game is over once the zombies killed a players in the game. All players that survive the 30 rounds will be provided with extra skulls.
After every round, players get skulls and for each zombie kill they also get skulls (5 kills= 1 skull).
There are a few kits, but every of these are unlocked for everyone for free.
Additional features:
During the game there can be certain random events just as big zombie hordes spawning, a lightning strike during a thunderstorm, a heavy zombie boss and more.
During the game there are also optional quests and if they get fulfilled every players receives a small bonus, e.g. a medpack.
In the shop players will be able to buy self-defending turrets that destroy the zombies, but they will will be expensive and they need to be reloaded with ammo.
