Mythical crate is just another name for any of the crate. So if you open any of the 4 crates: voting, rare, godly, or legendary, and applied for Helper then there's a high chance that you'll get drafted.

The broadcast for helpers is pretty cool! Way back when I was accepted for helper I thought I was getting banned because a higher staff said I was in "trouble". Never fully recovered from that incident, still having flashbacks...

But just a question... how did you guy get Mackitude and Misty to open a "mythical" crate? Did they do something that triggered that command or was it just an announcement made by developer?

It's a custom broadcast made by an admin. It was not an actual crate that they interacted with.
