These allegations are gonna lead to someone in trouble. If there is no problem using macros, then everyone should simply use them to replace butterfly clicking and comboing.

As far as this debate about macros, simply check the rules page. "Macros -> Using macros for non-chat related purposes. (This includes gaming mouses that can be an alternative to a macro) -> In PVP: Permanent Ban"

Mate, i thought the same thing initially... it is a nasty pill to swallow. But as you point out, the server is on a downward trend. the owners need new players to keep the server active at all, not the least to update it. so they nerfed the power of pain spam in the hopes of making new players stand more of a chance. however the new players are still heavily outgunned and everyone is at the point of not needing crates because they have everything. no crates= no money= no server. considering how sudden and frankly nuclear this move is, it was an absolute last resort.

no one is happy about losing their stuff. but most of the player base has seen the bigger picture. the simple question is would you rather keep your stuff and the server go offline in a matter of months or lose it all to keep the server alive, bring in new players? the owners made a mistake announcing mine wars before being 100% sure. however the truth that has to be accepted is that whatever doubts there are about mine wars seeing an update, i guarantee the odds of a mine wars update are much lower if the server goes down. I know its been way too long and i can see that it sucks to have waited so long, but heres what i will say to the owners credit. they are trying SOMETHING. they have taken a crappy situation and made something good out of it. do you know why im sure that this was a last resort decision? because they are risking the entire player base in the hopes that the server can save itself. So divisive posts like yours offer no help.

YES EVERYONE HAS NOTICED A RESET SUCKS.

look at the good not the bad. also something i realized- the owners are not bound to listen to the player base. they listen to the server. whats best for the server may not be best for the players short term. there have been resets before. the server survived. we will now too. Support the staff, dont take the anger out on them. the ones ive talked to said they found out the same time we all did. this was a very high level decision.

owners are trying to meet us in the middle. we keep our stats, and a little of our stuff. they didnt have to do that. they met us in the middle. lets all do that for them ok?

    A few points I have

    Paragraph 1-
+You point out that the owners need new players to join for the server to stay alive and grow (Sentence 2). Though this is true, having multiple resets in addition so sudden unwanted changes, as well as incorrect loot balancing and stat modifying, has already caused them to lose a majority of the player base. By continuing with the update, they are continuing this system of mass resetting progress for everyone to the point where TMD has become more of a kit pvp server for players with ranks or kits. Rather than resetting items to balance out loot quantities, they could simply remove certain items from being able to be purchased from the shop. Some items (EX riot armor or high level guns) should still be able to be sold so that if anyone has extras they may choose to save them in the vault or sell them for profit. This would also prevent people with infinite money from flooding the economy with gear. Gear such as juggernaut and legendary guns should not drop on death, forcing those who have them to either save them or risk losing them permanently. By doing these things, as well as restricting what infinite money can be used on rather than how much of the infinite money can be used daily, the amount of loot on all servers can be decreased. I would also suggest making vaults per-world, so everyone can't just transfer all items from one inventory to another. This would also limit the MAXIMUM possible quantity of items someone can have unless they have an alternate account to use for storage.

+You also state that "I know it been way too long and I can see that it sucks to have waited so long, but here's what I will say to the owner's credit. they are trying SOMETHING". What have they done other than postpone any major updates for almost TWO YEARS? The last major update I remember seeing was a fix to team killing with the RPG, as well as a rebalance of combat while on a speeder. I'm sorry, but I am going to have to disagree with the claim that they are doing anything in relation to MW, aside from putting it off to work on TMD.

+"no one is happy about losing their stuff. but most of the player base has seen the bigger picture." You state this, but yet the overwhelming majority has stated that this massive change is both unwanted and unneeded. Does resetting all loot "solve" the loot problem? For a short time, yes. As long as ranked players have access to kits and infinite money remains unchanged, the issue will repeatedly come back. There are other ways to solve the issue, and I have stated some of these solutions both in this post as well as several others.

+"because they are risking the entire player base in the hopes that the server can save itself." They have done this with every major update of any gamemode. The first time was with the map update change that went from the old map (where Berx was next to CDC), when *infinite* money was capped as well as the introduction of yet another pay to win kit (Mythical). The announcement of all the planned (but still unreleased) features of MW is another instance of this, but rather than players being upset with the changes they are upset with the lack of said changes. One more update with these characteristics was the closing of Map Maker. Though it seemed unimportant to those who did not join it often, I know myself as well as a few others I know enjoyed being able to build and have conversations with other players. Removing the server entirely has upset many in the community who built on it. Every time they introduce a new concept to the server, it is in hopes that it will cause players (old and new) to play the server. Not to be rude, but the above quote seems slightly one-sided. I'm not really mad though, because I see you joined after both of the updates I mentioned were announced/released. (Somewhere between late 2016 to early 2017 for the first two, I'm not entirely sure when Mthe third one happened)

+"there have been resets before. the server survived." If you are referring to the reset back when the maps switched, I would like to note that we had the ability to /save our inventories, and retrieve them after the map switch. Saving inventories also saved the contents of filled bags, meaning at maximum we could have a maximum of 972 item slots per inventory save, with a large number of saves (I had 32 or so). Not only this, but money was not reset with that update. The only thing that was reset was the map itself.

Yall gotta realize though, if Jacob has to do it for the server to live to begin with it has to be done, he did say he isn't resetting stats though, MW can die though, no point investing time in a 3 player daily server.
There are only a handful of players on BECAUSE the server has not been invested in. By saying "We will not work on a server that has low player counts" is counterproductive if the core reason is due to lack of updates rather than lack of community interest.

I asked three staff members and one was Ben. I'm not getting banned over a macro that double clicks only.
OOF Blaster bb only use https://havocmc.net/rules/ to find rules, asking staff can have mixed results. A staff member once told me I could get banned for having better hardware than others because having better ping and fps gave me an advantage XD so similar to your macro on your mouse, just assume that any hardware or software that gives you even a slight edge over others will get you shafted regardless of if it does anything major or not.

Ok I think I'm done now

Jacob and IgnitingIce screwed up their own server, so I'm going to grab some popcorn and watch the sparks fly.

Literally no one cares about Mine Wars, and thats not what is going to make them money. TMD and Hellnight are what made this server, who cares about money reset, would you rather have a bunch of money and no players on the server or a bunch of money and a bunch of players on the server? exactly.

Jahango is in support of this solely because 90 percent of his team has been banned, left the server, or left the team. In my opinion it’s less because of an actual desire for change and more or less a frantic realization of “oh no, I can’t use macros anymore with my 6 man team”.
What are you even saying... LOL idgaf if my teams banned, i'm here for the competition because that's what I like, I enjoy dropping kids like you for fun all day and even better.. this time I'm getting paid for doing so :D
