Well after she has taken such time to answer reply on this topic, and describe rules likes no one have done before. It look's like you are making fun of UnknownMelody! And I'm not shy to say I don't like that!

There is 3 subject on this topic
a) Should there be a fitrer online? The answer is simply yes, because there is stats who proves that witouth it, it cause more trouble! And there come the filtrer bypass rules.

b) What should / should not be allowed? Can't we just say that with chat who goes public, consequencies on others, or things that we woul'd not have tough possible could affect others?

I would like to say if you'r not sure a composite words from urban dictionary should be allowed or not, I would like to say ask your mom, but I fear she would think, you ask her to defend yourself .​

So since public chat text could have various consequences on others, I would like to say that I'm comfortable with the idea of having a "verbal abuse" rule.

c) Apply the rules would not be perfect! Unless you have a specific topic, with printscreen to share, I would suggest you create a support ticket about it! There goes team chat and friend chat too!

Anytime someone create a public forum topic about a problem, this became public, so there would probably have some criticism. So next time you have anger about a topic, why not asking a staff in private?​

As conclusion, this server is accessible to every players, even those who are 7 years old. So unless you want to discuss how responsible you could be about the way your public / chat / forum exchange will be, I would suggest to stop arguing! If you don't, it's look like you are making fun of Unknowmelody!

Saying "we get tired" isn't really explaining the rules.

I don't have a problem with a swear filter being on. Problem is, staff can interpret "filter bypass" in any way they want, so effin can be a mute, but wtf, which we all know what it means, has no punishment.

UnknownMelody doesn't make the rules, she just enforces them. That she says "it's within the rules" doesn't mean that it is.

If you'd like, you can go look at the rules yourself. The definition of filter bypass is "any means of bypassing the swear filter plugin." Abbreviations are a means of bypassing the plugin, so it shouldn't be ok.

Just punish equally for same thing. If you're gonna punish for saying effin, then also punish for saying wtf. Or just don't punish for either.

Abbreviations are allowed. I'd also like to point out that in this case, I was told that "effing" was accompanied by verbal abuse in the same message so that would be the main reason for the warning.

Could the warning be removed if the person who received the "verbal abuse" told the staff who dealt the warning that the "verbal abuse" was a joke and they weren't offended or harmed by it in any way?

I'll make this clear now, in the rules, it doesn't state that players CANNOT swear, they are just not allowed to curse at someone else.
So if you say something like this
"That's a f*cking zombie"
"F*ck it, I'm out"
"What the f*ck ?"
"F*ck those guns"
instead of
"F*ck you"
"F*ck you, you lil' b*tch"
"That f*cking idiot and his spaz"
You probably wouldn't get warned in the first place.
But you HAD to go ahead and say "kys", which means "kill your self", counting under suicide encouragement.

Still didn't answer about the loopholes or bypass like "wtf" or "ffs". Nope only " kys" is a bad filter bypass in staffs eye
