I'll make this clear now, in the rules, it doesn't state that players CANNOT swear, they are just not allowed to curse at someone else.
So if you say something like this
"That's a f*cking zombie"
"F*ck it, I'm out"
"What the f*ck ?"
"F*ck those guns"
instead of
"F*ck you"
"F*ck you, you lil' b*tch"
"That f*cking idiot and his spaz"
You probably wouldn't get warned in the first place.
But you HAD to go ahead and say "kys", which means "kill your self", counting under suicide encouragement.

It's not about swearing as it is filter bypass. I don't care if saying **** is ok as long as its not directed at someone, and neither does pretty much everyone else. Saying effing is not the same as saying ****. By your logic, if I say to someone, "don't fudging die" or something like that I get muted, but if I say "**** Walkers" in global chat nothing happens to me? I haven't heard a more flawed rule possibly ever in my life.

Also, read the rules. It says nothing about swearing in global chat being fine as long as its not directed towards someone. It doesn't say you can't, but it doesn't mean you can. Say a school has a sign that has all the rules on it, but it doesn't state you aren't allowed to set the school on fire. Does that mean its allowed? No, it isn't. What you're doing is trying to find a loophole. And didn't you say Craven and I were trolls trying to find loopholes? The answer is yes. So its safe to assume you are quite a hypocrite.

Also, I never mentioned "kys" in any of my posts in this thread. If I did, please show me. I will assume you didn't read all of my post and assumed it was just in my sea of abbreviations.

What I can see is that your trying to find loopholes in what staff say and sidestep them, you think that it might seem cool and you'd probably congratulated yourself over that, but honestly, you don't. The reason this post was made was because he got punished something other than the word "effin", and not the word "effin" itself. So try thinking before you jump to conclusions.

Am I trying to find loopholes? Yes. Why am I doing that? In hopes that someday you guys will fix them, which for now seems like a lost hope.

Also, you don't have to bring up the fiasco with Culpeo, unless you'd like us to tell people you spread rumors about the demotion of a staff.

Okay why do we have a chat filter? I agree some curse words and apprieviations should not be allowed (kys, f#g, n###er). Now, anyone who has seen TWD knows they sweat from time to time, and I think we can all agree that a child should probably not see the series in the first place. If I have to see "oh there's kids" I'm gonna cry. No kidding there's kids. Its minecraft. Lichcraft, a decently large server (which I think might even be larger than TMD) has swearing. It's normal. And it should be tolerated in an environment where adults are the majority.

Obviously, you never read Melody's post, I'd suggest you go back, use a dictionary and figure out the hard words, then come back and post again, if you refuse to grow up that's not my problem.

Finally a question that makes sense, yes, I've had a case like that before where they were just fooling around and the targeted player said the curser was just joking around.

Ok so first of all i wasn't crying but i was really pissed that i got muted for just tellin peeps that i was warned for saying something that is not a curse word.I dont need any attention im just trying to prove of how not to talk to staff when they are tired cause that results in a mute some how??
now about abbreviations effin is a abbreviation for "****ing" why do i get warned but wait i think staff should start using some logic before warning,muting or banning people im not trying to offend anyone here but how tf does staff say i dont wanna talk cause im tired like srsly wtf is that i mean you got your position cause you wanna help hence the prefix "helper" so since your tired why do you wanna come on just to annoy people for fun or what pls go to sleep its better. once again i didnt mean to offend anyone.
