    • What Do The Staff Really Do?

    I'm glad you asked! Thanks to NHFLX posting on my thread on the old forums, we know what the staff members can and can't do. Well, here it is!

    Helpers
    • Moderates chat related offenses in local/team/shout chat.
    • Moderates some server related offenses.
    • Ability to view punishment information, view alternate accounts, spy, warn, temporarily mute, & temporarily ban for up to a day.

    Junior Moderators
    • Moderates chat related offenses in local/team/message/shout chat.
    • Moderates some server related offenses.
    • Moderates client related offenses.
    • Handles reports/appeals.
    • Ability to view punishment information, view alternate accounts, spy, social spy, warn, temporarily mute, permanently mute, temporarily ban, permanently ban, admin mode, disguise as players, and lock/delete threads on the forums.

    Senior Moderators
    • Moderates chat related offenses in local/team/message/shout chat.
    • Moderates all server related offenses.
    • Moderates client related offenses.
    • Handles reports/appeals.
    • Handles helper applications and votes on staff promotions/demotions.
    • Ability to view punishment information, view alternate accounts, view gameplay, spy, social spy, warn, temporarily mute, permanently mute, temporarily ban, permanently ban, admin mode, fly, every game mode, disguise as anything, lock/delete threads on the forums, and view inventories/vaults.

    Admins
    • Moderates chat related offenses in local/team/message/shout chat.
    • Moderates all server related offenses.
    • Moderates client related offenses.
    • Handles reports/appeals.
    • Handles helper applications and votes on staff promotions/demotions.
    • Ability to view punishment information, view alternate accounts, view gameplay, spy, social spy, warn, temporarily mute, permanently mute, temporarily ban, permanently ban, admin mode, fly, every game mode, disguise as anything, lock/delete threads on the forums, view inventories/vaults, world edit, world guard, destroy and place blocks, and various other things not related to moderation.

    Owners
    • Everything.

    But, what about the builders? What can they do? Thanks to _VC_ we have that information too!

    Head Builders
    • Handle applications.
    • Create new textures for blocks, NPCs, and guns/melees.
    • Most trusted and experienced builders.
    • Access to server build-1.
    • OP on build server.
    • Usually a part of the more important projects such as secret things, Mine Wars, new additions to the map, rebuilding of locations, and other cool things.
    • No special perks on public servers, not necessary because we have a private build server.
    • I (_VC_) do a little more than build: Obviously, the Mine Wars/TMD trailers I made, and I have a very basic skill set in making 3D textures, so when they need something really basic and easy, they usually ask me. For example: the ammo models.
    • Takes part in testing of updates and new things occasionally.

    Builders
    • Access to build server.
    • Takes part in most projects.
    • No special perks on public servers.
    • There is another type of builder that's for a different game mode, but it's a secret for now. 55NavyBoy would be in that classification.
    • Also have access to handling builder apps but no one really does because Head Builders usually do that stuff.
    • Depending on their skills some builders are given special assignments.
    • People who get promoted from LA builder because of their trust and the time they've spent being an LA builder.
    As for the Developers...well, you should understand what they do.

    There are no more LA builders, the LA project was cancelled months ago. Also trail builder no longer exists as well. Also another cool thing I thought I might add as a builder is I make the skins (armor npcs, and possible gun recolors) for the server, you guys will definitely be seeing ALOT more npcs on miningdead in the coming updates!

    I just updated it by:
    • Deleting LA Builders (No longer a position)
    • Deleting Trial Builders (No longer a position)
    • Adding to Head Builders (Create new textures for blocks, NPCs, and guns/melees.)

    I mean I do the npc and armor textures and I'm not a head builder. there's not much difference between head builder and builder, we do pretty much the same stuff, sometimes head builders help with newer projects and get more information on future updates.
