Why are builders not staff?

So I've noticed people don't qualify builders as staff. Why? The definition of staff is: everyone employed by a group or company/ a group of assistants helping an officer. Thee "group" or "officers" would be Nickk, Ignitingice, and JacobG, and the builders are employed by them to make maps (which is assisting them). So why are they not staff? #BuilderLivesMatter

EDIT: Noticed builders are under the staff tab... and has anyone seen the one guy on the dev team online? I think he/she would be placed with builders in the "staff who aren't qualified as staff" category

I dunno, maybe builders are more free in doing there jobs than helpers and Mods...I guess they should be in staff?

Lol we've talked about this a lot throughout our builder skype groups. We are considered staff yes, but we have no power to do anything on the public servers.

I think they should still have some basic powers like reporting people to mods because they should be trustable

Ive seen this on a lot of servers, I personally think a builder is staff.

They do, but they get tens (possibly hundreds, idk) of tickets and reports a day, so they cant get to each one instantly.

yes,but the builders have skype with the staff and can get info though eaiser

Ive asked every builder, helper, and moderator that I could find. If all of the staff are saying builders are staff, why do people insist that the staff are lying :/

This server has multiple kinds of staff.
- The kind that moderates and takes care of the players. (Helpers, Owners, Mods, Admins).
- The kind that works on the server, making sure everything is working as it should. Fixing bugs and working on new features. (Developers, Owners.)
- The kind that builds, and edits the server, so that we have an exciting place to play. (Builders, Owners, possibly Admins & Moderators).

*There is a chance I may be wrong here, I'm sure the higher staff will correct me if I am.*
