  • New zombie types?

    Which type of zombie do you like the best?

    did Nickk do an announcement that I missed? I miss all of the good announcements ;-;
    . Dogs - They would be rarely found in the wild, and would be hostile. Killing them would give meat.
    2. Rats - They would be found in dark and closed off areas. They would do like half a heart per hit, or run away. Killing them would give dead rat, which you could cook or just eat raw.
    3. Flares - A flare gun (Misc category?) which can shoot flares or ignite enemies.
    4. Bandits - These would be similar to Mine Wars mobs. They would shoot you on sight. Could be another challenge on PvE.
    5. Radios - You could find radios and switch between channels. When talking with a radio in hand, you would send out a message to people on your channel. Perhaps your name could be replaced with ????? unless you are on a team with the receiver. That way, there would be some mystery, and it would be like the Eugene story line in the comics.
    6. Switching Safezones - We could have many safezones in the new map, and every week we could have it switch which safezones are available. Perhaps you could "find" safezones, so that you could tp to them regardless. We could also have a safezone that is always available, so it would be similar to Berx.
    7. Cycling Compass - Your compass cycles between locations instead of pointing to the closest one.

    I remember that post. well since flares, compasses, and the safezone thing (because school sz is found in crates or something), maybe we can get the rest added? Someone call Nickk and make the bandits drop either ammo or food please. I'd farm bandits easy. (make sure they also attack zombies, it would be wierd fighting a bandit who is in the middle of a walker hoard)

    I used to be on ducibus about a week ago i left tho to join the wu tang clan
    Ducibus is better now. HellomanMC spawned a bunch of zombies on us in cdc, and some of them were holding guns and wearing armor. I have a screenshot on my laptop, but I'm on my IPod. if someone can remind me by tomorrow morning, I'll post the screenshot (I turned hit boxes on so you could see how many zombies there are, since they were all clumped)

    What about when Shane and Otis were escaping from the school? I thought the walkers were running at one point but now I'm not sure...
    I stand corrected. I totally forgot about that (even though I don't think they were really like sprinting but..) And while doing another show re-watch.. I found another moment with some 'runners'. In S1 when Glenn and Rick covered themselves in the guts, then they had to run; some of the walkers were running.. I mean I guess you could look it as S1 and S2 had completely different show runner(s) then who we have now..So they just had different ideas for walkers. I don't really think we've seen any other 'runners' since S2? I mean I could totally be wrong, I'll have to see if I find anything when I pick up watching later tonight.

    I've been playing The Mining Dead for almost 2 years now.. And I usually play alone and kill zombies, I get bored sometimes and I wish sometimes zombies would be more intense and harder to kill. Then I got the idea of more kinds of zombies! Here is my list of zombies below:
    1. Runners (This is self explanatory)
    2. Brutes(Riot armored zombies, found in places like CDC, and militaries. Rare chances of spawning as jugg. Do x2 the normal damage)
    3. Leapers (self explanatory, do more damage if they land on you)
    4. Spitters (spit acid that can poison you)
    I think it would be great if staff would add these updates after they are finish with everything else. However, since the server is based on TWD I wouldn't be too sure about "Spitters" being added.

    Oh god! No! No new zombie types! Please! I do like the brute idea. Mostly because all it has is riot and no weird features like, running, jumping, and spiting acid.

    2. Brutes (jugg zombies with a crap ton of health, they also do a crap tn of damage. Shout out to my friend Clintastic for giving me this idea. It would take about 3 people to take out a brute. It would bring a challenge to tmd! There quite rare though)

    4. Spitters (spit acid that can poison you)
