You can’t help the player count. People blame it on toxic community but that’s a fat lie Minecraft itself is toxic & dying, the server has changed so much it’s up to the owners to fix the problems and each individual player to decide if they want to come back. Also, my suggestion is people need to stop focusing and attacking everyone else in the community and learn to better themselves :)

mc is dying as a whole. agreed

Fake news. If we put it in ideas it would be ignored, but if we post it here someone high up in staff chain will need to move it THEREFORE they will actually have to see it and acknowledge it's existence. If owners still don't notice I will find them and hit them with sticks.
what makes you say that the owners aren’t listening? Do you want them to say something like read this etc etc. They won’t comment on that until they make another announcement on the forums. If they respond to it, it will become a waste of time to argue about a response when other things could be done.

Tbh if they just said "noted" to the serious idea threads I would be fine. Then at least everyone would know they actually read stuff. I haven't really seen any player ideas being used when I read the annoumcements for the last few updates, and nobody else that I ask can find any either. I just wish they would let us know that our ideas were being seen. If there were community managers who looked at the ideas and sent the serious ones to the owners that might help since it would eliminate the need for the owners to read every idea thread.

Remove tier 4 guns and riot from shop as buyable items

Make infinite money not work on guns and armor so the economy isn't flooded with these items

Make everything that is in shop sellable on right click (ex left click to buy a barret, right click to sell a barret). Also make prices for buying higher than the sell prices (ex buying a barrett is 2k, selling is 1k)

Go back to using chests for loot. The current 3d bags (although cool) cause a bit of lag + if server lags when you open the bag it dissapears and the items inside are lost.

Fix random lag spikes on all tmd servers. This more than anything is shafting the experience of pvpers and rpers alike.

Give the old high res texture pack back, and leave the current one as the low res one (like you did before removing the high res pack)

Allow kits to work in an sz.

Give OGs TMDOP in place of TMD1

Tmd2 should be current pvp system
    Tmd3 should be no pvp
Tmd4 should be RP, maybe with a command to toggle wether or not you want to allow players to hurt you (or something like that)

    Fix HN

Give back the ad thing that gives crate rewards. That would slightly help finances, and would give people a way to get crates other than just voting.

Get more staff above helper, since helpers can only really moderate chat :(
Also remove apprentice rank as it just seems silly to have a rank that has less perms than helper (which has almost none).

Add ability to remove the mag from a fully loaded gun so that I don't end up throwing out 50 billion mags that are stuck in guns.

Buff the sawed off to have more pellets (4-6)

Make p90 have 50 bullets. If you don't want to change it, please change name to the Ps90 which DOES have a 30 bullet clip (but it can technically also take the 50rnd if im not mistaken). You wouldn't need to change the model for the current p90 since both guns look almost the same.

Add suppressor attachments so every zombie in the area doesn't immediately agro on me when I shoot out a window because Im too lazy to use/can't find the door. This would also be good for pvp as it would make zombies less of a hazard and allowing people to focus on the fight.

If above is added, don't let shotguns or snipers be suppressed. This reduces the amount of textures you need to make as well as makes these high damage weapons slightly less op.

(If HD pack is added) Add camos for those guns too. If you don't want to I or Rejante probably will.

Make RPG actually kill things with a direct hit. As of now I need to 2 tap zombies with it when one rocket should be enough.

Make flamethrowers use fuel cans as ammo. One fuel can is one clip.

Command to get a compass while in the world so that every new player isn't getting lost because they dropped their compass. I know there is an online map but some people (like myself) have bad pcs that instantly die the moment they attempt to open a link when they have a game going.

(Not sure if this exists) command to see a specific tutorial, in case you forgot how something works.

    Ability to sell cars

Increase car rarity. I can grind at the warehouse and get a few stacks of vehicles in about an hour.

Fix glitch where if server lags while using medkit I get stuck with an open medkit that I can't remove/drop.

Fix item lag when moving stuff in my inventory

Fix thing where if server lags when I enter a bag I get booted from the bag inventory and it despawns.

Remove ELO. It's almost as useless as me in any pvp situation.

Get a smaller map. I like the current one, but it gives me aids when I need to walk somewhere. Also more detailed areas (EX Atlanta) are a bit laggy even with optifine and all settings on lowest possible setting :/

Make community manager rank and give it to a few staff members/ open applications for it. That way we as a community
1.Dont need to bother you (owners)
    2. Can help to improve an idea and make it work for the server BEFORE showing it to owners.
3.Know who to publicly hang if our ideas aren't getting to the owners.

Add airdrops/ loot caches that spawn (maybe every 3 hours) so people can have other things to do. Id say don't do these on PVE servers as it would basically be free handouts. On pvp servers it makes you actually earn it. Also multiple locations would be good so that someone can't just fortify the only drop point.

-If I think of something else I will post it later-
**** *****, might as well remake the entire server

I'm feeling too lazy for a formal post so here:

Get rid of nametags (even if this makes the Jesus character useless)
Add npcs like bandits to the map (similar to stormtroopers/rebels in MineWars)
If bags are being removed, retexture pouches to backpacks
In the case that the Hell Night updates flop, replace with game modes that represent TWD locations but play as 5-10 minute matches, at least until there's enough players for Hell Night
    More variety in weapons
Put a cap on the shops so people can't buy as many weapons or as much armor as they want
Revert the inventory system so you can only have one type of each weapon in your HUD inventory (although a primary/secondary only weapon system would be fine with me)
Add Slowness effects when carrying heavy weapons/armor (would GREATLY balance PvP)

I can cross healing item fixes, server reductions, and focusing on one topic at a time off the lists as they have been taken care of already.

If you liked these suggestions, feel free to take a look at the thread I created about my ideas on a possible new game mode (TMD Skirmishes).
    It'd be greatly appreciated!

Only suggestion I really have is simply to get the game stable, then stop updating it.

Sounds simple, but there's really quite a bit to this.

With the plan to have updates every two weeks on TMD, however big or small they are, it could very easily become impossible to get used to the mechanics of the game, since they aren't consistent. For example, say you get used to the fire rate and clip size of a certain gun, but a week later it changes, and a week later it changes again. In the end, you'll probably end up frustrated with the constant changes, and possibly leave the server.

That might not be the greatest example, but it kind of sums up what I'm trying to say: if the game mechanics are being messed with every two weeks, and you can't get used to any one thing, players will get frustrated. It kind of follows the same pattern as control sensitivity for video game controls. With most settings, unless it's super high or super low, you can become used to the game, and get good with aiming. It doesn't matter too much what the setting is, provided you can get used to it, and it wasn't a terrible setting to begin with. However, if you constantly keep changing it, it's almost impossible to become used to it, and therefore you can't aim at all.

In a way, that's kind of what TMD is doing. It keeps bouncing between playstyles and mechanics, and for some people, it's impossible to learn the mechanics and have any fun with it. To keep this from happening, all you have to do is keep the base parts consistent, so people can become used to what TMD has.

Not saying updates should never happen, because eventually players would leave, but there's no need to have them so frequently.

I think that, as I've previously stated in another suggestions thread, that a manager for content and suggestions should be made, you can find that somewhere in the Ideas and Suggestions area, though, in summary the manager would pass up any reasonable suggestions to the content team and it would be decided whether or not the suggestion is plausible. Havoc needs more higher ranking staff members, as it's been said before. I think Armen made some very, very good points, and I'll be expanding and giving my thoughts on them momentarily. For one, the economy is very much donor based, and it will be even more, as always, after the reset, as not only will a majority have infinite, but a majority could get more money after monthlies. If we wanted to have a more interesting economy, we'd need to make things more rare. My idea for this, is to keep infinite and everything, but make money harder to find, and make gear extremely hard to buy, by only having a certain amount of guns a trader can sell, and a cooldown every 2-3 weeks. Also, perhaps an Escape From Tarkov Style inventory, where items take up more than one space, but this would involve increasing vault space to support this. This idea would also involve armor taking up more than one space. Yes, it's hard to code, but it would make TMD stand out more than your average server. This would also make it harder to get guns, and armor, and vault them. How would this work in your standard inventory? I'm thinking bags in offhand slot, or in another slot, which you can only have one in your inventory. You could in theory put the bag in your echest, but it would take up a large amount of slots, like in Tarkov, it would take up the amount it stores, and you could also put bags in bags. How we would achieve this would be complicated, but as a concept it sounds unique, and sounds reasonable. Expanding more on that, in Tarkov, heavy armor, like juggernaut armor, would take up 4x4, typically a chestplate. The helmet, no matter which, with the exception of some hats, would take up 2x2, So, in summary, items take up more space, and the economy would be more balanced. Also, armor would give slowness, depending on what type. For example, juggernaut armor would have slowness 2-3, riot 1-2, military none or 1, leather would have none. Another, add bullet spread for guns, don't let them be lasers or fire straight, unless you're aiming. Another ambitious idea I have would be the addition of bullet jamming, and you'd be able to clear the jam via the reload button, with jamming, would be weapon durability. Weapons bought off shop would have low-medium durability, and would be repairable at another NPC, for certain amounts of money. Another idea I have would be an addition to both PVE, and PVP servers, and would involve the addition of enemy AIs that utilize weapons to fight the player, in certain areas. On PVP and PVE servers, the difficulty would vary depending on the enemies you would be fighting. The NPCs would be capable of dealing the same damage as a normal player, and would actually be able to tank damage. They would come in groups of 6-10 and would be capable of killing a player. They would also be aggressive to zombies, and vice versa. These NPCs would drop rarer items, such as money, bags, and high damage and durability weapons, since, in this theoretical TMD gamemode, the weapons would be more scarce, and armor would be more scarce, and donors wouldn't be able to abuse their perks by buying guns upon guns upon guns and then store them all away at once, since for one, it would be hard to store all guns, for two, it would be hard to buy reliable guns, for three, not only will players and zombies be an issue, but AI capable of outnumbering and outgunning you would be an issue, etc etc. In addition to these Bandit NPCs, would be bandit bosses roaming with them. Each one would have specific perks and combatants, for example, aggressive military NPCs lead by a boss, that could tank much more than the average bandit. Military NPCs would be outfitted with Military/Riot/Juggernaut armor, with the boss in full juggernaut, plus more health than the average player. The boss wouldn't have any speed boosts, or slowness boosts, but would deal heavy damage, and would be able to tank the player. The normal NPCs, depending on their equipment, would be slower, or faster. That's all I got for now, I'll be giving my thoughts and opinions on Memen's ideas soon.

For removing nametags just add every player to the same scoreboard team then set nametag visibility to HideForSameTeam or whatever it's called. The command itself is one line, and adding players to the scoreboard team could be automated. similar to how tutorials show up the first time you get a corresponding item, but instead of getting an item the triggering event is on joining the server

    O heck double post

Going to the part where you make money more limited, that would just make it harder for those without infinite. Id say don't make gear hard to buy, just restrict what gear you can buy. Ex rather than buying 2.5 trillion riot sets just make it where riot can only be sold so I actually need to do stuff to get quality gear rather than whipping out my infinite credit card and saying "give zucc". Limited quantities would be cool, but then I worry that someone with inf would buy out the supply. To fix that I suggest making sell quantites per person so that people with inf don't screw everyone else over by buying the entire trader's stock. Everything else seems like a meme to me. Idk how multiple inventory slots would work though. Guns would need to be 1x(number) since the hotbar is only 1 slot high and 9 across. Guns should be 1x4 at most, allowing for a large primary and a secondary, or a small primary and 2 or so secondary. Plus a few slots for food or meds. Food and meds should be 1 slot, melees 1x1 or 1x2, and armor 2x2 since you probably won't be putting it in your hotbar.

I think if the gun doesn't have a magazine, yes it could be 1 slot, but if the gun was not, and it was in your vault, it was be 2x4 or something. In regards to the riot, it would be hard for it to be bought out, since it takes up more than one slot. And, as I said before, all the items wouldn't be in great condition, meaning it would be harder to use in combat, as both guns and armor would be damaged to the point where it would be hard to manage in combat.

Yeah but if size changes when it enters your vault I feel like something would break code wise. Plus it seems wierd that my gun would double in size when I store it.

As for armor people with inf also buy gear for teammates, so you gotta note that too.

yeah but the armor would be in less durability memen so people can't ezpz aboose the armor, and would have to spend more money to get a little bit more durability on it

I still think just adding a limit to the amount of weapons and armor you can buy per day is the best option :/
Adds more value to the guns and armor, and makes you think more about surviving than going out guns blazing. Granted, you could horde, but at least inflation would take longer and hopefully by the time it does inflate to that extent, the next reset would happen.

    Here's an idea.
    Remove chat.
Or, only allow local chat, and make it, very, very local chat, to the point where you can only read messages from in a 10x10 block radius. Remove global, if toxicity in global is an issue, remove it, yes, this could be different in PVE servers, and maybe, if you're in an SZ, global is activated, or local is increased to all of the PVE. Yes, messages could be allowed, but maybe to only friends. Also, remove nametags, and don't allow players to know who killed them.
yata yata yata we could also add dog tags or heads that could sell for certain amounts of money depending on their level and K/D Ratio, also we could make damage affect the player's overall health, and would require heavier healing, which could be provided in certain areas of the map where you wouldn't be able to warp to, if you lose a lot of health to the lower body, you would have less speed, if you get hit in the head, perhaps nausea or blindness would occur, chest damage would add more damage to the overall body, arm damage would mean less CPS, or that thing where you can't hit fast or something, idk what it's called though.
