Would this work for EVERYONE: if we just simple remove the pain cooldown and remove the infinite cap, it'd be just like old Tmd but with a new map. Would everyone like that? Cuz we never got complaints from anyone the old way we did things.

I don't really think it would end up working for everyone. I know that some people legitimately enjoy the painkiller cooldown and infinite cap (and no, it isn't just staff that like them. I've heard the "only staff like the changes" argument before and it's stupid). Taking these changes away now could end up creating more drama in the community.

The fact is that, there needs to be a cooldown for pains(to stop ppl who use autoclicker/making it achieveable by all player levels), just another method of implementing it should be brought. There are different effects for painkillers that are currently implemented on the different gamemodes which can be configured into a favorable compromise for all. For now, the cap on infinite will suffice due to its positive nature of encouraging fairness amongst all player ranks.

What about keeping the infinite cap and removing the painkiller cool-down however it isn't purchasable via the npcs? There wouldn't be a lot of painkillers on the market as before thus causing the value to increase (helps the economy).

My second idea is the same as above except painkillers have a cool-down 1.5 seconds

The point of a compromise is to make all sides pleased...
And thats impossible to do with how different these two types of people are. No matter what half of the server population would not be happy.

With two servers however, everyone's happy.... For the most part.

There's not that many people who like the painkiller cooldown and infinite cap completely as it is. 100k gets you barely anywhere and not being able to use a pain for a set amount of time can be frustrating. What others and I have already suggested is that the infinite cap be set a more reasonable point and that the painkiller cooldown either be changed a bit and side effects of overdosing be added.

If thats true, then clearly making the OP TMD was a good idea. Because lots of people seem to like it. Infact they like it enough that theyd play it over TMD-1.... Am I right?

No, a lot of people have either stopped playing entirely or gone to OP-TMD because half of the server that actually does play in wars went to OP TMD and got dragged along because TMD-1 is barren without half of the active players. I'm not saying TMD-1 is perfect nor that OP-TMD is entirely bad, but both servers still have things that need to be fixed and could be added. Sure, people might like OP-TMD over TMD-1, but there's still a number of elements that could be tweaked and work to satisfy people at both ends.

Why did people quit? Don't they either like OP or regular TMD? Or what made them quit? Im confused.

On another note, do you mind naming a couple people that did actually quit?

I know a whole part of my own team did. Some people were completely fine with regular TMD as long as some changes were being made, but now that OP TMD has a bunch of players there, there's no point in playing. It's not fun at all when people think that going to wars is all about who has the most gear and can pain the fastest. It's actually pretty simple, not something to act confused about.

Yeah, both servers need work. Normal TMD just needs more places on the map, and a LOWER /WARP COOLDOWN, and Op Tmd is pretty new, so it is still in beta
