Said the guy who played and went to wars on OPTMD. Make up your mind which server your fighting forWell, I'm saying this now because I had already posted a thread about potential solutions to the problem. Apparently, no one bothered to read it and instead decided that opening an entirely different game mode was the solution.

I have made my mind up which is quite apparent if you read this thread. I'm fighting for a combined server that has aspects from both. Again, please read everything I post before responding. I stated that regular TMD-1 is essentially dead and has no more wars; that is why, every now and then, I am playing on OP-TMD because there's nothing better to play on. Never blatantly declared that OP-TMD is all terrible.

The fact is that there are different players, with different interests, and it would not be possible to fit everybody's wants with one server. Prior to OP, there was constant arguments among players. This was the case with PvP as well, and PvE is a huge success. I think that there will be a whole new generation of players who like the current game mode, while people who like OP will have a place to play.

Nice post mate, I completely agree with you that division is not the way, and I found your little mathematical burn on OP TMD to be a little hilarious. But I will say this, even though I disagree with what nick is doing, I still respect his decision because of 2 factors, firstly nick has experience and has ran this server, so I hope he is right and will prove us wrong that this is the best possible outcome, secondly I will not become like @DDENGAR and @KatnissDixon and cry about how this is unfair, because I believe that crying without any proper critique is useless.[Keep the comments respectful and stick to the topic.]
After the new update, a large share of the HavocMC community was unsatisfied and displeased with the changes. There was an infinite money cap, long painkiller cooldown, nerfing of jugg, and plenty more. And all of this was forced upon the staff team to fix right away. Tons and tons and tons of threads. Yesterday, however, the owners released their version of a legitimate solution to the problem: more changes and a new gamemode.
The goal of OP TMD and other changes was to bring the community together, not to keep players arguing, separated, or divided. The owners were trying to institute a new sense of unity.
Now, thinking back to elementary school, to bring things together, you add and multiply. You were never taught to subtract and certainly not to divide if this were the case.
Here's a little diagram that explains it all:
POST-RESET:
NEW SOLUTION:
WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING:
Now that a whole portion of the TMD community has gone to OP TMD, players on regular TMD are left with nothing. There are no more big wars, less chatting amongst players, and no fun; all of this is inevitably going to become a much more apparent problem in the days to follow if OP TMD remains. The Mining Dead was supposed to be a game mode for all kinds of players where there is a focus on realism but still the recognition that it's a game and not everything can be perfectly realistic for players to be happy. After all, people play virtual games to escape reality and give themselves a different identity. This thread or the entire movement against OP TMD is not because we want complete realism. If players want to be happy, there has to be certain elements that reflect on both realism and its opposite. However, that only means compromises need to be made.
OP TMD is just a way for people with infinite to think that they are the richest people on the server by buying a hundred stack of pains and inflating the economy with too many golden barretts and jugg sets. That's not talent, believe it or not, to just be wearing jugg. The real talent is when you can win and defeat your opponents on regular TMD where everything is much more difficult and requires real skill. All of this is going to generate tons and tons of cash and when that useless cash comes to TMD-1, then the infinite cap becomes absolutely useless; congratulations, you have inflated the TMD market once again.
Blacks in the 20th century didn't keep drinking from the leaky fountain. They compromised and they fought for equality and unity. Dividing the Indians with a caste system didn't help the Untouchables. The Civil War was fought to unify people, not to keep everyone apart. Donald Trump didn't say in his victory speech at 3 AM that if you have a different opinion, then **** off. He called for unity. There are hundreds of more examples. Sure, there's checks and balances and division in our government, fifty different states, political boundaries, and more. But those things are created intentionally to keep people together in a different way. No, creating two separate servers is not a compromise. It's a foolish way of trying to solve division with division.
In essence, OP TMD is a counterproductive way of meeting the players' needs. It accomplishes nothing other than inflation and everything the reset was intended to solve. People on regular TMD are still not pleased. All that has been done is the owners have created a new game mode without paying any attention to the hundreds of other players trying to play on the better TMD. Please remove the OP TMD server and instead, bring compromises for all players.
We're not saying that we can't make compromises, making quick solutions to appease players, is a band aid solution. A true compromise and solution would be one that solves the root problem. I'm not against compromises, i'm against band aid solutions because they don't solve the root cause. Are you saying we can't make compromises?
A Final word to @LinkOFeare :
Nice post, you've made me chuckle a little, something which no other player has been able to do. Other than the times I trolled chat by saying i'm wolf kin and asking dumb question like what is twd. A word of advise, take it from some one who argued against infinite. Many people on the other side will lose things if things change, those people can't be swayed, they have a bias, and hidden agendas you may feel its unethical or that they aren't looking out for the entire server, and you might be right. But at the end of the day, we can't really change anything, they will use all the intellectually dishonest tactics to try to paint you as this person who is unreasonable, don't listen to them, don't argue with them, save your breath, most of them are after all kids.
Thanks for your time and good luck.

Link, this wont work. More people would have quit if op tmd was not added. As nick said, we can not please the whole community with just one gamemode. Lots of players only came onto the server because they saw people like @xDeclanLee on youtube, doing full jugg wars and such. So, when the new update came lots of people were not happy, so they quit. This is the tmd for wars. Tmd-1 is the tmd for roleplay and realism. I admit, wars were fun on tmd-1, but most of us prefer the new tmd. There is nothing wrong with spliting up the players. That would be like saying people got tired of tmd and went to mine wars, so we should remove mine wars. Maybe you and 2 of your jugg buddies like this, i dont know. But, i do know that nick wont change the whole server because you want "Realistic Jugg Wars"

You write an entire paragraph trying to be condescending but fail to realize everything I have already stated. This thing you say "won't work" has never been specified as none other than a server with compromises that are met. And in most given situations, when compromises are met, it does work out. So before we jump to conclusions, let's at least think of what the compromises would mean. Lots of people came on because of lots of reasons, sure, but when the new update came out, many people also failed to recognize that just because an update came out, it wouldn't be all permanent. That's why people in many other threads came up with potential solutions and compromises to help bring the server together. By 'most of us,' you're referring to the select few teams who play on TMDO-1. There is something wrong with splitting up the players because by doing so, you immediately disregard the players who enjoy certain aspects of TMD-1 and they become the ones who quit. It's not at all like what you're saying because Mine Wars is a completely separate game mode with almost no relation to TMD. Mine Wars wasn't created to satisfy some people out of the few who were displeased with the game mode before it. I never asked to change the entire server because I wanted realistic jugg wars. I'm asking the owners to discuss more with players and instead of dividing the players into two half-full servers, come up with a way to bring them all back together. I don't necessarily want or not want the infinite cap, painkiller cooldowns, nerfed jugg, or any of all that. What I do want is for compromises such as an infinite cap that is set where inflation will not be a problem and players will continue to feel as though they're getting the bang for the buck. We could lower shop prices, add more features that benefit people at both ends, have a shorter painkiller cooldown or simply no cooldown and side effects. At the end of the day, just jumping to conclusions, making broad assumptions, and not understanding any of what I wrote is not going to help. What we need is for the players and staff team, especially, to support an idea to bring people together and be willing to talk about how to accomplish that.

I've had enough of your idiotic BS. You keep saying ," poor poor TMD-1. Because on it wars suck" Oh cry me a river. Sorry but I have to tell you to stfu. More people are on TMD-1 at all times of the day and night so you need to stop crying and get over it. OP was the right answer because sorry but some people like different things than you."WOW REALLY WHAAAAT" Seriously every time anyone said anything you just say " Well there's no one on" get over it. And please, and I mean PLEASE don't say "well actually if you read my posts and thread blah blah blah" we've read it and added comments that actually make sense and you still refuse to see the good of OPTMD.You write an entire paragraph trying to be condescending but fail to realize everything I have already stated.
