How do I say this passive aggressively?
Stop complaining, I guess. There's two kind of OGs, the ones who think that their opinions matter and they can fix everything by throwing more money, more toxic players, and more trash at the server.
    You can't.
The other OGs are the ones making a difference, those guys are on the staff team, and on the Dev team, and are the ones who are actually making rational ideas that they think will work.
Unbanning players is just a way to bring back some players, and then have those who hack, to inevitably be banned once again. If you truly believe players are innocent. Allow them to appeal. Allow them, to speak for themselves. Do they even want to come back?
It's almost exclusive to the OG community to be toxic, and to go complain. It's exclusive to the OG community, to think that time here makes a difference. This could be because you're all competitive. Even now you are, you aren't even playing Havoc anymore.
There's a race to whoever can make the biggest, best, most unoriginal, remake of TMD, which you all know will not succeed like Havoc did. Turning it back to the way it was won't do anything. The players that enjoyed that are gone.
Make way for a new community.
A not toxic community that won't go arguing against every single staff member in existence for quote unquote false banning players.
    We need a new community.
OGs are getting rid of new players, through toxicity, drama, calling them "Randys", and just simply being keyboard warriors.
When those players are around, we are not making our community welcome. The server keeps changing, because we want to try more methods to succeed. Maybe you should realize, it's not Havoc that is dying, it could just be Minecraft itself. Havoc doesn't need you people to run, no matter how much money you have put into it. They are called donations for a reason. Because it helps the server to run.
    And for staff?
    Think about this.
If you were apart of the moderation team, and had that power to put a player out, what are the chances you would be abusive?
What are the chances you would be hungry for power?
Havoc does not need OG players. No matter how much of the community it makes up.
Because the OG players could just be the reason Havoc is dying.

So here we go, another massive ****storm that this post will generate. Sound's fun? Alright, here it goes.

I've been playing this server for a decent time, first logged on december 2014. I started playing like an average non, looting random places and killing players i came across. The server used to be extremely laggy back then and there wasn't a whole lot of players online, but it was still extremely fun. The community wasn't really centered around drama and was more about a few cursewords and "1v1 me irl" types of chats that usally died down in a few minutes. Most players that view themselves as relevant today also started playing around this time. This stage of the server had a lot of ups and downs.
The main downside was the insanely horrible lag and the frequent crashes caused by more then 40 people being online at the same time. Not many other downsides were really that bad, The few people that had the knowledge to hack used mostly free clients that didn't make a lot of a difference in pvp. Staff abuse wasn't a big thing here except Jewishbagel, (why do i even have to mention that guy) The few toxic people that were considered toxic at this time would be considered reincarnates of Jesus Christ on todays tmd.
The good sides were However : Fairly balanced pvp and painkillers, much less of a p2w then today, the 1.7 map that wasn't nearly as detailed as the map we know today but it was easy to orientate on it. (Example: Jump from berx, go across the hills and grab up at hartsfield, go to alex and then war it out) and it was much smaller, making travel faster.
In short, a decent time period in my book.

    In mid-late 2015

Here Come the changes, First the server gets its hardware upgraded, basically eliminating most of the lag and a bit later basic 3D guns replace the aging 2D models. Most people were extremely hyped for this change let me add. Aside from this there is a lot of new people playing the server and start to form actual teams. /teams wasn't added yet so friendly fire and people throwing mollies on teammates was a common way to meme people. I personally was with Sparta's team during this time period. There is starting to be drama but it is really only 1-2 people on the server doing that sort of stuff, The rest of the trashtalking is still mostly the "1v1 me irl" type. However this is the point where players really start to hate staff members, mostly because of the abuse jewishbagel is doing and a few other mods aswell. Prison wars become more and more common, the old pvp system is still in place, jugg wasn't yet added and you could buy infinite in the shop, and you still had the insanely horrid looking "cars". I personally think this was the golden age of TMD.

    Late 2015-early 2016.
This is the point where i personally think something started to go wrong, sort of a bomb that started ticking in a plane. In late 2015 the immortal rank is announced. Another rank, not really a big deal to most of the people i talked to, maybe more 12 year olds that can use mommys card. Then alongside with it they announce jugg. We were hyped for this armor because we thought it was going to add more flavor to pvp, and at first glance it seemed quite nice. If you had a jugg set in this time period, especially the first weeks you were basically a god. It was rather balanced, 3-4 Well aimed barret shots as opposed to 2-3 needed for riot made this armor an upgrade from riot. The main thing wasn't its protection that stood out, it was how intimidating it was for people in wars. If you were waring in riot and the team rolls out a jugg, you run and you run like hell. It was still very much balanced though, if you had a good team that knew what they were doing you could drop them with ease. Along with jugg came legendary weapons, Flamethrower, GBarret, Gdeag and i'm not sure if the gatgun came later. Everyone on my team wanted to get thier hands on these because they were quite powerful for riot wars, and it was mainly used by us to kill juggs. The "1 weapon type in the hotbar" thing is added and /team is added, it's buggy but it semi-works.
So the immortal rank, what went wrong? First of all immortal rank basically made all other ranks useless. You had access to jugg, and mainly, legendary weapons basically for free. People that were able to fight off ranked players now found themselves not being able to fight at all. Wars became more and more centered around tryharding and if you brought along jugg or not. Since it "wouldnt be worth wasting time on riot" This is also the point that drama started to happen more and more and making more of the older players irritated. Staff abuse also exploded in this time period, since the server was getting more and more players, more staff was needed and most people that got accepted abused like hell. This time period is where the pay2win started to become a bit apparent. I think they should have stopped adding and tweaking things at this point.

    Mid-late 2016
The things that i described above continue, Drama starts becoming more prevalent and a new type of players start coming to tmd, RPers/mineplexers/dramaqueens. Call then what you want, i hate them with a passion. Now jugg wasn't overpowered at this stage, but that changed when the pvp sytem got updated to become more "balanced". Yeah totally, to this day we can't agree to how the pvp should work because of this "balance". It was seriously fine up until this point, now people would kill eachother irl if they attempted debating how to "fix" the system that was made here. All i'm going to say. Overnight jugg became overpowered, and people started to practice clicking faster. Autoclickers started to pop up but it was a very very few people who did it. Pvp was changed but that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Rank Merge and Newmap This is the point where TMD efficiently signed it's death warrant. The new map was something a lot of people looked forward too, since the old map was basically boring after being used for such a long time, And this too sparked a debate that lasts to this day and that nobody will ever agree on. Now about the Rank merging. This is the one move that basically sealed the fate of TMD. This move basically drew a line between non-ranked and lower ranked players and high ranked ones, sort of like staff and players. Before this merge it was still a line, but it wasnt really visible. Now after this change, non-ranked players started to leave or they donated so they wouldn't be stomped over. Teams started to have rank criterias, "good" crates were only avalible for Mythicals/Titans, lower ranked people had to upgrade or basically start to take all kinds of crap. This move alone was bad but the other distinct thing that made this really bad was that, remember those "new typed of players" i mentioned above? They bought in on these ranks and and basically made people that weren't into this sort of drama **** to start adapting to them. And most of these people that started this also started hacking since old players usally just viped the floor with them. Autoclicking started to become prevalent and players who hated this kept quiet and slowly started leaving since they were just told to "suck it up, its new times". Staff abuse was still a big thing, and it became worse when these RPers got staff and basically sided with thier teams when it came to punishing people. I personally left when this happened, since most of my team had left and there was no reason to play something that was only causing me to lose no matter the skill.

    Early-Mid-late 2017:

Players slowly started leaving. The new map was still in place, and players that were getting trashed moved to tmd-3/tmd-4 so they they could still play the game, and then slowly started leaving that aswell.
The amount of drama was so much that even mineplex lobby-1 tier chat was nothing compared to it.
Berx was still the main center for pvp as it has always been, but the fights that happened were always between mythical teams and not like it used to be, with old random non-ranked/low ranked players against other random players It was about "whos got the better hacks/Who is clicking faster" When random players that decided to team up against one ego-team and challenge them every other big famous team went after them. Tmd after this point would only decay more and more.

    2018
Theres less and less players per week now, People who left because they have no chance are joined by players who are fed up with the drama and hackers. Barely anyone except high ranked self-proclaimed "relevant" people play. And anyone who disagrees with these people is literally met with toxicity that is worse then the radiation in chernobyl. Players who decide to challence these people get teamed up on by the whole server. The whole server is basically dead.

I'm not going to lie, i don't think TMD will see 2019. I think it's far too late to do anything anymore for this, the main reason being that the people who play only want themselves ontop and not the server or other players too. Suggestions that could atleast do something are ignored. And most of the playerbase are fed up, theres ddos threats, dox threats, hackers and closerhackers, everything is toxic and there is more fakedrama then in a spanish telenovella. I loved this server when i started playing it, and i managed to go along without a rank to this day. But i think TMD is going to die soon and nothing can be done about it. This isn't a "im quitting" post. it's just the sad state of tmd and a tale from my perspective on this server this far.

As being a player from a long time ago (yes different acc) I can relate with the minecart cars and the server kicks and the game really being a small server where everyone knew everyone and a keyboard warrior was the most dramatic thing that happened and what I think is it isn't what the owners/devs think is best because they don't play their own server we (did) play the server so they should cast a vote poll for what people want of the server not saying that if more than half of us want the server to be based off bananas then they have to do it but they should take our opinion into consideration. The staff don't give two silver ****s about helping people and never will anymore. Because of how small the server has gotten, staff can do anything they want because who is going to report them and give them a reason to care? The non-existent community? That's right nobody is so without any motivation to be a good helping staff member they don't give a **** and act more toxic than a normal player. That's all.

In hope by staff you mean the moderation team. Us builders have worked for months on this coming update.

when people say staff, it's common sense to assume the moderation team ("builders don't count as staff" remember?)
^This is satirical observation, I'm not being rude.

There's two different "staff" teams, one being the moderation team, being apprentices, helpers, moderators, senior moderators, admins, and owners, and then there's the development team, being builders, the head builders, developers, third party programmers, and then owners. We're staff, in some aspect.

Right, but I'm just pointing out that most people, when they say "staff," they mean the moderation team. If they're talking about the builders they usually just say "build team/builders."
