Why Unlimited Money Should be Reset (not removed)

Go to berx/mallow and look around probably some juggs and riot. Do /stats of anyone you see wearing jugg or riot. Chances are they have unlimited money. Now there's nothing wrong with that, but when I did that I realised wayyyyy to many people have unlimited money. I mean like wtf I thought the chances were small. I think unlimited money as gotten out of hand so during the reset I think they should also reset unlimited money. Let people truly start over, but everyone who has unlimited money is probably gonna tell me I'm crazy. Thanks for reading

Would you be happy if that company that you bought it from went to your house, unhooked it, and took it back without paying you back? No, you wouldn't. That's the same with unlimited money. Yall realize by decreasing the value of infinite money you are basically just taking it away. I've only had infinite for like a month. Come on- let me enjoy it. I spent enough money on crates. "Nerfing" it is just as bad as taking it away. Whats the point of infinite money if all you can buy is crap?

Please do not mess with the stores. You are already taking all my items, all my money, and everything I worked hard for. Why does every little thing have to be messed with? Please stop! Enough has been taken from us! The people with infinite supported the server and donated to help it grow and stay alive, and people want to make it so you can just get food and crap for free? I am frustrated beyond belief at the thought of infinite being nerf'd. I really hate that. We are losing enough already! Stop taking away more!

and if they are nerfed, get ready for a drastic drop in legendary crate sales. Who the hell would pay $5 a crate for a chance to have unlimited food and junk?!

Hearing a staff member say they are looking into nerfing infinite has made me sick. Everyone is crying about fairness. What's not fair is the hundreds of dollars I just poured down the drain for 1 month of fun. Yay free food and crap (sarcasm). I wish people would get over the infinite thing. There really aren't that many active people with it.

Not everyone spent a ton of money to get it. Your acting like its taking away your house, its not that big of a deal. Sure i would like it to stay, I myself have infinite money and I enjoy it but its not like the server was unplayable without it. Then you say people spent hundreds upon thousands of dollars for it, well that may or not be true but i know in some people cases they didn't even want infinite money they just got it out of there monthly bonus. But i think there should be a buff in the rarity of it. I got it in a GOD crate out of my hardcore monthly bonus. That's right not even a legendary. So i think this should be more like a god like stroke of luck and the best thing you could get in the game. Instead of something most people get if they spend enough money. Also I don't think it is acceptable that i received it in the first god crate i ever opened when many others have spent lots of money to get it. So what i'm trying to say is don't overreact its just a game and don't remove infinite money. Just increase the rarity.

Okay, so apparently you didn't even read the first sentence in the thread. The player basically said temporarily remove infinite money that way everyone has a fair chance at the start of the reset. Not to mention, the player put it in parentheses saying (not removed) at the end of his/her sentence.

Wow, you're basically contradicting yourself here. You're saying you donated purely because you wanted to support the server and help the community grow yet you're complaining that the community isn't over the whole infinite money issue? From what it looks like, you donated just to try and get infinite money and not for the betterment of the server.

remove pains from shop, disable infinite cash for 2 weeks after reset, and make food, melds weapons, and things from Daryl the only thing infinite works. this is based of the "influence" system, where you can only take certain objects for free. irl zombie apocalypse, the money would be equal to influence. if you get infinite money, it's like gaining influence, meaning people like you enough to donate you things for free

Like negan, he has enough influence and power to take hilltops stuff

The bonus for VIP is a rare crate or two, which dont have infinite

... Owners have this reset for a reason. "Ranks get a head start." Supporters get a head start. If you have infinite, and hear reset, you hear "$$$" ranks NEED this reset. They donated to get an advantage. Not to just get kits everyday. They can get thousands of pains everyday.

Nerfing infinite won't kill you, you are acting like an toddler that just got in a big pile of dirt and is crying about getting dirty. Also why does it matter so much about your "hard earned" stuff? Most items you will find just exploring the map, with the exception of legendary items and jugg. So what I'm saying is why are you so butt hurt about it? I don't mean to sound like a dooshbag but you are complaining about something that may not even happen. One thing I know for sure is that they aren't going to remove infinite money, and so what if they limit shops that you can use it on. You have a better chance of keeping money if you look for the item you want in the world, than buying it from the shop. In other words you can get something for free if you work for it. Which this also brings up the fact that many people on this server is becoming lazy. Back in 1.8 everyone was super active and it was the good old days, when items prospered! Heck then you could ask someone and they would most likely give you what you request because they actually worked for it and found multiples of the item while searching. To me if we remove infinite money people will be more active. Others who would be upset will most likely leave, but hey I'm sure other people would come in to replace those missing slots. Make all tier 4 guns and pains go away from the shops

No this is a terrible idea. Removing tier 4 items would cause jug to be insanely op. And if we remove riot and jug then your left with only 2 sets of armour making the game boring. Also you would have successfully crashed the market because no one would be selling jug and the only thing that sell over 30k that's not jug is a g Barrett, but wait that's over a tier 4 item so we would have to remove that. Making there 40% less items in the game. And if you just removed them from the shops everyone would be Looting and no one would be pvping. And people dont want that, go see the other forum on removing box from safe zones if you disagree

ok I am shocked at how rude some people in the community are being about this. As someone who JUST won infinite after a year of trying, of course its upsetting to hear staff talk about messing with it. Did I all-caps rage? No. Did I freak out and call people names? No.

I gave an opinion on something I feel strongly about because it effects me personally if changed. If you think this is "throwing a fit" by calmly asking staff not to mess with it on the forums, I'd hate to hear what you think about people who are actually raging.

I did not contradict myself. Everyone knows that when you donate you are helping the server. Do you think anyone purely donates just for that sole reason? You are twisting my words when it is not necessary.

About the whole donor contradiction thing: Donors who have infinite (usually- including myself), poured a lot of real-life money into getting it. We love the server and are happy to donate to something- but without the infinite money, we wouldn't have spent as much as we did. Maybe a few won it easily, but most of us didn't. We are already losing all of our money and items, just like everyone else. I just was asking that the infinite money not be changed- because if it is changed, then there's really no point to infinite money. Due to commands like /needs and /thirst I don't even buy food and water, so reading food and other junk items as a possible solution for infinite money was upsetting.

There is really no reason to attack me and call me names because I gave an opinion about things stated throughout the thread. I responded to more than just the original post. I would appreciate it if people could limit attacking me for giving my opinion, as I never set out to attack anyone.

I said IF infinite is nerfed, I would be disappointed because I really did spend a lot of money (not thousands,btw- please read my posts without exaggerating the content in them). and again, as stated earlier. If infinite is changed so that it only gives you basic items (junk) then it will have no real value. That is my opinion, which to me is just as bad as taking it away. If my opinion triggers you, I'm sorry. If I had won infinite maybe 6 months ago maybe I would feel differently. I got it only a short time ago and it just sucks if it's changed. I guess it is what it is though.

Ok, so just to summaries for anyone new to the thread,you either:
don't want infinite removed/downgraded, because it defeats the purpose of getting it
want it to be nerfed/removed because it gives an unfair advantage
or have no opinion.
I personally see the reasons for both ideas, and have a comprimise.
For people who want it nerfed:Turn TMD 1 and 2 into servers where pains, tier 4's, riot armor are all removed from shop. That way, you get servers where infinite is worth less *sigh*
For people who want it to stay the same:Leave the other pvp servers as infinite remaining the same.
IDK what to do if someone goes to TMD-5 to get gear to put in vault to take to TMD-1 or 2, so if someone could think of something that would be great!

I respect your opinion, but all I'm saying is what about the people who have donated to the server bought a bunch of crates and still don't have unlimited money. Besides like half the server has unlimited money I just think resetting it will be a bit more fun. Also resetting doesn't mean removing okay?

I've come to a realization that infinite money won't be going away no matter what people say or do. I think we're just going to have to live with the fact that infinite money is here to stay regardless. However, I do agree infinite money should be removed temporarily that way everyone has a fair start. It's like VC said, if infinite money was removed permanently then majority of them would throw a paroxysm.

I completely agree with you, I don't why people thought I wanted it permanently removed.
