I totally agree with you Declan! Since some of the new updates on TMD are ridiculous.
People come on this server for PvP. Not a realistic survival game where theres a cooldown on pains and limited money.
The old TMD was great, but I agree, people were too OP. Some people (like myself) Enjoyed the hardcore wars we would have. Thats the reason we would come on this server. By de-buffing pains and limiting money just made a bunch of people quit. If you would've just updated the map, safezones and remove bike PvP, people would of been happier. This game is about skill which is why you should take Declans idea into consideration. It gives everyone a new opportunity!

Also, some people bought legendary crates to gain infinite money. Its dumb that now they have a 100k limit.

You (And others) keep on saying people come to this server for pvp. Since when was pvp being removed? There is still a very big PvP aspect to the server, just not the one you are currently used to. If everyone would take the time they are spending complaining and put it into adapting and figuring out new ways to combat players, everyone would already be used to the change.

K.... I don't know what you guys are talking about Immortal being to OP..... Like honestly, I can gain more jugg by killing people than by using my jugg kit. In fact, I rarely use my jugg kit because I can just kill people. Just because immortal has a few extra kits doesn't mean it's OP, just get the stuff by killing people.....

And to those who are saying that it will separate the community..... No..... It will bring the community back... Do you realize how many people hate this update? This update is tearing apart the community. Declans idea will help bring more people to the server. Simple....

TMD is unplugging their life support if they don't try and implement the old gamemode or something. I can agree the are some people who like the update. But there are a lot who don't. There can simply be no compromise in my eyes. 2 gametypes will attract more players and everyone will be happy.

Also!!! I can already predict that this update will consist of a lot of camping/long range fights. Because going out close range to fight is too dangerous with the new pain system... Wheres the fun in that?

The change was unwarranted. There was no previous mention of the painkillers being nerfed, Infinite money being nerfed, and having survivors almost as equal if not bigger power than Immortals. Maybe the owners deliberately hid those updates away from us to have us supportive of the reset, but I feel that I've been betrayed greatly. Many people say that this idea will make the community divided, but what you fail to realize is that the community is already divided. I've seen loads of people abandoning the server because of this update. We are all getting used to the change. I bet we all welcome change, but how it was implemented was less than savory. We need some communication and the owners only gave us the basics. When they announced it, we simply thought that it would have been a change of map, new items to make the game more interesting, New ways to earn items, a reset of money and items to make everyone start off evenly, and a few bug fixes and changes to make the server gameplay better. The old tmd will always come back in any conversation about new changes later to come as a reference point of when the server was, if not balanced, most enjoyed. I also encourage Nick_ and any other coders for the server to make a beta version of the server before fulling replacing the existing one, as backlashes may occur much like this one.

Wait! I havent heard about this!!! What do survivors have now?????!!!!!
Survivors lose hunger at a much slower rate than ranked players. I've tested my alt which is a survivor by making him run around prison while my Immortal account stood still. The alt only lose 1.5 hunger in 5 mins while my immortal account lost 4. Whether this was sneakily put in under our noses to make survivors more or not, I'm infuriated.

The new server has many problems though its well done and congratulations on the work staff. The problems have with the new server are the compass's the map itself and the sense of realism. Firstly the compass's are terrible sure being able to track any place on the map is good but you cant track where the nearest place to you is, its a disaster so many times I have been in the wild and I just want to get to the closest town but I don't know where it is and when I check the map the map isn't updated yet. My second problem is the map is way to big, you cant get anywhere with such a big map it takes a ton of time to go from one town to another, the old map was the perfect size and the case of this map should be less is more, currently the map is just stupidly big I could barely explore the whole of the old map I cant even explore anything of this map. The final problem is the sense of realism, this server gained its popularity from its pvp mechanics not its realism of survival only a small percentage have played the game in the survival terms in doing this new reset you have satisfied a niche market and have upset the majority

Man, once the server rised to popularity people must've forgotten that we are WALKING DEAD server. Not a faction server and not a pvp server. The game was always supposed to be: you earn your resources, you fight with what you find, and you struggle for survival amongst other people. I mean that's what TWD is like right? In the old days everyone(about 70 people) understood that. They were fine with the changes as long as it made it more challenging and realistic. As the server grew everyone forgot what we are, but we sure didn't. But sadly the majority of people who play are greedy ****s who don't even watch the show and could care less about the map. It's a bit sad. All the whiny inmortals are truly noobs if they can't pvp in the REAL TMD. Go to some faction server where you can have stacks of golden apples and full diomand with 2 clicks. You can spam your diomand swords at each other for however long you want. But here? Here you earn your stuff. Infinite money was a mistake from long ago that's caught up to us and messed up a lot of things. We are doing everything we can to limite it, but clearly all you pvp gods hate it, which I guess I understand where some of you bought a ton of crates for it but we are just trying things and if everyone hates it, it'll probably change just be patient. With pains: I see no problem with that. Plenty of people have said that Pvp is much harder now against nakeds and noobs. PERFECT. If you're running through the streets not ducking in cover and some noob in a window sees you, he has the right to be able to kill you for running out in the open like an idiot. With spamming pains, he'd shoot you once and bam you're insta healed before he gets his second shot off. Now you have to actually be smart when travelling because you can get killed quick, which makes 150% perfect sense because that's how bullets work IRL and if you take too many pain killers you will die. Again if you noobs really want your insta health go to a pvp server or faction server, but if you are actually good at fighting and strategy you'll stay here, because this is the true test. And about the food thing, I thought it was a glitch at first, but if it's not I'm okay with it. If you think about it the higher ranked players are stereotyped to be the "best players on the server". Now I know you can just buy a rank and not earn it. But usually people buy a rank after some experience. So technically if immortals are supposed to be the best players or "more experienced players" they'd know there way around looting. I sure know how to loot, and the food thing doesn't affect me at all. Pro tip: loot the small brown bags that look like a purse. Those will give you tons of food. Those and the little sacks. I think it makes things a little more balanced among everyone(If it's not a bug) If you're a survivor you don't lose food quickly but you don't have any kits or command perms. Immortals get a **** ton of kits and commands but there food goes down quicker. I really don't see a problem with that. If you cant handle your food situation then there's no way you should be playing a WALKING DEAD server. But in all fairness it is a bit excessive. That's why I still think it's a bug or maybe it only happens when you are wearing riot gear. Holy crap I think that's true. I always do /play with assassin and I never notice myself getting hungry until I find myself some heavy gear. Holy crap I need to check this out.

You're right but you have to realise that the server has a lot of players who play just for the pvp aspect of the game. Not everyone wants to loot for years just to fight.

I can see myself backing up the arguments that you've made here. The server's going back to its original roots and you, along many other people who were upset with the old tmd were happy to see this go. However, you have to admit since the server "changed" to cater to those with ranks, more and more new people joined, thinking that the server was made up like this from the start. You speak of "The good old days" like it's the 90's when all the children who play the game now were born in 2002. I'm getting used to the update now which is surprising since I'm **** at adapting my play-style. If this was a WALKING DEAD server like you push so much to be, then I can see so many more changes to make the server so much more catering towards "survivalists". There's also the issue with hacks. With the new reset and the de-buff of many of our items also will come, if not already came with new hackers. These are veteran players who do not wish to adapt like many of us did and only wish to go back to when they were the op ones. You have to admit, the de-buffs generally came out of no-where and upset the community with a lot, and I mean A LOT of bugs that should have been fixed, and could have been fixed if they took the time to make a beta version of the server before they completely reset the old system. You also didn't argue against Declan. At no point in your argument did you counter anything that Declan has said, and your statements are able to be satisfied if Declan's idea did inspire the owners. The main argument here is that the addition to the "OP server" will divide the community, but like I'd said many times before to others, the community was divided in the first place when they suddenly changed many of the mechanics of the server that I didn't see anyone complaining about until then.

Hey all, I know a lot of people, including myself, are unhappy with the reset. Mostly this is down to the recent changes that have been made regarding Infinite Money and Painkillers.
My forum post today is about making everyone happy, not just those who feel the update is horrible.

    Let's get started.
If we had different TMD's for different purposes, it would make everyone happy. What I mean by this is having a "Realism TMD" for those who do not like Infinite Money and painkillers being "over-powered". This would also attract more role players into the server as they would have a safer, and funner experience role playing on TMD. And, if you think about it carefully, those who love the new update would be able to play this and be happy.

The second tmd, 'OP Tmd'. This TMD would be for all the people who don't play for realism and infact play for skill, fun and to kill juggs.
This TMD would be just like the old one however would have the new map on it. (By the way, great job builders on the map. It is amazing!). Painkillers would not have a cooldown and Infinite Money would not be capped.

The third TMD is what Nick covered, it would be called 'Barebones' (I think that is what he said) and is mainly for fair fights like 1v1's, 2v2's and FFA's.

These different TMD's would make everyone happy and would give everyone the experience on TMD they wanted.

    The Down Side -
As Nick said yesterday, doing my idea would divide the community. However, at first I would agree with Nick but if you look at very big servers such as Hypixel and TheHiveMC, they have multiple game modes for all different communities. And by having multiple game modes for different people, they have since grown their servers massively.
"As Nick said yesterday, doing my idea would divide the community. @xDeclanLee ee , you're 15 so I hope you understand basic maths.

Our server has a server population of 700 at highest point of the day and 100 at the lowest point and this is counting total players (TMD,Minewars, Build server, Hell Night). Imagine lets say 70% go to TMD, so it would be 490 highest on tmd and 70 lowest. Imagine if, you split the servers into 3 different servers and don't forget, we still have to account for pvp and non pvp. So at minimum we would have 6 servers and who knows? Maybe there will be additional servers. So at this point we're stretching thin. Maybe we would have 60-70 players at highest point and 10 at the lowest? Compared to now this is a serious downgrade. You mentioned hypixel as an argument, i'll leave you with this. Hypixel has around 30000-100000 players a day. We don't. That's why they have multiple servers and we don't.

So your telling me the ranked people who actually spent money in the game are far off worse inside the unreasonable giant map. People who spent money for perks that are now getting nerfed? I guess that means Ima need to buy an alt
