"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. Always eat fish, and you will surely search for more variety" People may like having those legends/money, but that wont be enough gear to sustain a healthy playstyle. Unless you hoard it all, you will die with it. Lets assume each crate gave one legendary item. That is 16 items. That could be:
16 legend guns
1 full jugg set, 12 legend guns
2 full sets, 8 legend guns
3 full sets, 4 legends
4 full jugg sets.
Now consider the rarity of chestplates and boots, since Immortals have these items in kits (They can farm both of these 7 times a day). That decreases the amount of useful items that are hard to find, making helmets and pants worth more. Assuming a group of , lets say 5, immortals decide to spend a week farming these jugg pieces.
*Farming jugg using /kit Heavy once per day on all 7 tmd server
*7 days a week
*5 immortals
7x7=49 of both jugg parts per week for 1 person
49x5=245 of each jugg piece assuming all the immortals farmed on every server for the entire week. Thats alot of jugg!
Now think back to how jugg helmets and pants are
Not in any kits. That raises their value. Assuming any player who was given/took the boots and chestplate wanted to complete a full set of jugg. Wait, nobody has any money! Server just reset! For people with infinite money, this will not be a problem! Instead of paying cash, they could trade goods from the shops. Trading goods= more loot circulating through the player base. More loot=quicker gathering of loot for older players who know how this works. More loot=higher target. Eventually, those loot hoarders get better loot. They run out of space to hold items, so they begin doing things like dropping bad items at safezones. New players will get that bad loot, and will search to level up their arsenal. When they level up, they drop their old gear to the newer newer players.
Point: Gearwise, everyone will be in a giant food-chain like system where the bad loot drops to the bottom, and the bottom players seek to level up. This creates competition, and for those higher on the food chain, there are more people working together to steal their loot. By doing this, naturally some of the jugg will be destroyed/wiped by ground item removal.
Weapons will follow a similar system, but slightly different. Since legend weapons (mainly the gold weapons) can be found in immortal kits, they follow the same system of jugg (different math) I won't go into details, but since more than one Immortal kit has a legend gun, they could potentially be farming more guns than jugg! As these legend weapons increase in stock, the tier 4 weapons (other than spas of course) will slowly fall down the chain.
Whats the point of this rant? In the end, regardless of how many crates we give anyone, the top players will still get the legend stuff, and everyone else will not. Immortals with infinite money become the 1% of the top players. regular Immortals and maybe gods will become the upper class, ultra, and players with infinite money become the middle (since they can still trade shop items for loot), and Elite, Vip, and non-ranked players without infinite become the lower class.
There are always people who don't follow this, but majority are around this area. So, by making everyone have more crates, there is a higher possibility that middle/lower class can have a fighting chance on the new server. I support you guys!
This could be fixed if Immortal kits didn't contain so much op stuff. Im gathering more info to help make this post better.
edit: @Tactical_Fox48 even if we did not give anyone crates, montly rank bonuses would emphasis the point that ranked players will level up faster than middle/lower class (ultras have an ok shot)
