New Map & Reset

Please read the entire thread before replying or talking about it in general. First off, due to the amazing work and dedication from our Builders and Head Builders, we are a large majority of the way done with a new map. It is 7,500x7,500, and has every location from the show. It's been in the works for almost half a year, and we are planning to release it late December! I have some quick screenshots at the bottom, but there is no way to show the quality of the map, and the shear amount of content. Atlanta itself is 2,000 x 1,000! We also have a lot of planned Mining Dead Updates, as shown below.

Planned TMD Updates:
- New Spawn
- Better Tutorial
- Throwable Spears + Knives
- Flare Guns + Maybe More Guns
- Riot Shield
- Car Parts & Keys?
- New Kits
- Jesus
- Aaron
- Ezekiel (With a tiger)
- Default Kits Reworked
- More Warps
- When you die, if it wasn't a headshot, a corpse spawns. If that corpse isn't killed, it turns into a zombie.
- Team Fixes
- Rotating Safezones (Every week or two we will rotate which safezones non ranked players can go to. Ranked players will have more available)

Now to get into the reset.

First off, our reason for the reset: The current "map" in terms of money and items started August 1st, 2015. Since that time, there have been tons of duplication glitches (20+), and I would be willing to bet most of the current jug is duped. As a result, there is way too much of it. Also, new players don't have much of a chance when there are vets with 100 sets of jug. Also, every month, on average, 50,000 voting crates are opened. As a result, there is way too much stuff in the market.

So due to this, the following will be reset with the update:
- Inventories
- Vaults
- Locations
- Money (You will keep infinite)

Now, there will be compensation.

Any crates bought within the last month (Since October 18th) will be given to you again upon the reset. Also, any crates bought from this point forward will be given normally, and then will also be given after the reset. Also, after the reset, the first two monthly bonuses will yield double crates.

Also, if there is any special cases, (ex: You bought 20 Legendary Crates on October 15th) and would be looking for something, there is a small chance we could help you if you emailed [email protected].

For those of you who worked a ton to get your gear and feel like it's being stolen, feel free to make suggestions, but we will be doing this reset regardless, so that all the duped gear is gone, and everybody has a chance.

in terms of suggestions as to those who feel like our time and effort in gaining our wealth is being taken away from us, perhaps each player could keep around 10% of there wealth in order to feel like they haven't been shafted completely? what do u think?

Heck no, if it resets my vaults, and money then no. I'm pretty sure my jugg isn't duped as it has been in my vaults for helluva lot longer than a month. Also, if i lose my infinite money i'm gonna be pretty pissed cause I spent some good money trying to get it. Regular money isn't as big a deal, but something as rare as infinite money that I payed a lot of money for just being taken away is a no go for me. Also, i'm just saying the reset got a lot of hate earlier before the 1.9 update so why would it be an option this time? All in all the map, love it being updated, but my stuff being reset hells no

I've been working so hard since May 2015 for my K/D and my jugg.
We should have a choice wether or not to get a reset as then most players would be happy and a majority of us wouldn't quit (which is what a lot of players are doing now because of this)

I never thought this would happen, so yes, this has made me pretty upset and frustrated as all my jugg is legit. I've only ever duped once and I did it on accident and reported it instantly after.

No reset for ones who don't want it.
Maybe have a command in the new map that you can do to reset?

Well guess what? too bad.. they're resetting the server because it NEEDS a reset. There is way too much jugg in the system some duped some not but it doesnt matter, jugg is suppose to be decently rare and as of right now its all people wear. You're only upset about this because you aren't good without your jugg or even in your jugg lol sorry but it's true and like brad said this reset will show who the skilled and commited players are.

LOL no. There won't be a command to choose if you reset or not, that would be so dumb, even more dumb then you thinking about that idea.

I believe that this reset sounds awesome, but people who have 40+ sets that aren't duped are definitely going to quit because they put their time into this and then to have all of their work cleared is just BS.

Have fun losing half your servers population?

lots of people have worked hard for there gear, but a reset is a good thing. It's going to balance the economy and will be a fresh start for all players. If you're going to quit or threaten to quit over a reset, then it shows how your not a very good player, because if you are a decent player it shouldn't take you too long to get back on your feet.


Also on another note, are stats going to be reset? So will we start with 0 deaths, 0 kills because I think we should, sorry if this has already been mentioned I just didn't see it under your list of Things To Be Reset:

I, for one, am absolutely thrilled about the reset. I do not care at all about my jugg whatsoever, it's just a door leading to saltiness and toxicness. Still surprised to see so many people shocked about this considering the concept of a reset has been elaborated upon numerous times in the past.
Also, can't wait for the new map, can tell it is going to be epic! Awesome work staff.

I have one question for all the people who are quitting: Does havoc never get boring? I mean most of you have a crap ton of stuff and I mean does it not get boring? Look I get it, you worked insanely hard to get your items, but haven't you ever wanted to go back to the days when you were starting off? You can't tell me you have never wanted to go back to the days when you still camped at spots to get your loot. Think about it this way, this is a second way to play the game. You could go a completely different route then you did last time. You can also always earn your stuff back. You also have to remember, current Havoc for new players most likely sucks, especially on pvp servers. They can't go anywhere cool without almost instantly dying. We need this reset, it is a fresh start for all of us. Before you quit, please give this a chance, I think you will have a lot more fun on the new map then you will have had on the old one.

Nick, this is a little suggestion of mine, disable infinite money for the first month of the server reset. If you do this then it gives everyone a chance to get gear, if you don't then the people with infinite money will rule the pvp servers from the start of the reset.

I dont quite understand how you cant give back ALL the crates bought. All the crates that were bought was bought as a "Virtual" object. And we bought them because we wanted what came out of them, not as a donation. It sais in the terms of conditions that we are not allowed to chargeback, but if you do this i and many other people wont care and will most likely chargeback, and if you have 100+ people chargeback more than 100$ you will basicly never be able to persue with a lawsuit that big. We could even consider 50% of the players from Europe, and since this is an american server. I wont belive that English Courts, German Courts and other European Courts will even care to use time and energy in this. @_Nickk i know you think this is a good idea to remove all "duped" jugg, but what you are really doing is pluging out the power supply for TMD's lifesupport.

The terms of service are what you agreed to, by agreeing to them you therefor can't legally charge back. I get your concern but he said special cases will be made if they spent a lot of money.

I agree with this mostly, except for the fact I've saved up over two duffels worth of high and as you said, I would feel like it's being stolen from me. I've been through 3 or 4 resets since wd.mc-adventures first map, and I've never had the amount of gear or reputation any time before, if there's some form of compensation, or maybe just a kick to the curb, I'd appreciate the response.

Be honest, what would you do if the server didn't reset?
Continue on obtaining jugg, warring in atlanta for a video, endlessly repeating the same cycle going back and forth from berx and Atlanta. Maybe switching it up a bit and going to beleport every once in awhile. How long would that last you until you got bored out of your mind and decided to quit. A lot of people are at that point right now. For the last 10 months they've only gone to atlanta and berx and the only thing they can think about is their jugg gear. Yeah it's great until it becomes a literal routine, then it starts to get stale after awhile. See you're at your peak right now when it comes to jugg and warring, you've got your system down, you've got a team to war with, life's good. But sooner or later you'll get bored trust me. The new map is intense as heck and I cannot wait to war on it. Add a reset on top of it and **** is going to get real very quickly. I can't wait till the day of the update when everyone gets to start fresh and everyone's racing to gain items, hold bases, getting kills, exploring, etc... All i'm saying is it's gonna get intense fast. And all the top teams who run the PvP servers are gonna be fighting to keep their dominant spot, if they can, without their precious jugg. The truly skilled teams/players will rise and the noobs who can't fight without jugg will fall. You have fun on whatever factions server you'll go to or wherever. Maybe MCFazio will pay you to do a youtube video on his server, that is if you've got any subs left still watching.

Of course I'm here and excited for the map and the new routines to come along with it, but a reset is just pointless and as Apes said, it is unplugging TMD's life support considering they're going to lose a majority of their donators.

Like I said before, even if HavocMC does lose half of their donors (which I highly doubt), newcomers will fill the space they left behind, and hopefully won't be as reliant on Jugg.
